Hey all. I just got back to the game after a long break, and, yet again, Im gravitating towards the Imperial faction(what can I say, I guess Im just rotten to the core
), particularly because of the Decimator *drool*
Now, from what Ive read/been told, you wonderful folks got an increased colour palette a while back, my question is this: Does that palette extend to the Long Formal Jacket, ie, can you make them a white/cream colour at last? The PA Im forming has a spot for an Imperial Intelligence officer, but Ill have to drop that if theres no uniform available.

I know the long formal jacket got expanded colors (and we didn't get expanded colors for anything else so I don't know who your source is). I know that we got a real black, but I'm not sure about other colors. Anyone made one of these since the patch?

Oh...right, Im sure I read a thread a couple of days ago that talked about expanded colour palettes....then again it did come up with the search and I may have misread the date on it, heh. I really would like an answer from you folks though, would be most helpful.

While on the topic of colors the one that that drives me nuts is that I cannot get good color matches between the spec ops duster and the paramilitary cammos

You might have read some posts about our desires to expand the color pallets for all items. But as far as I know right now, the Long Formal Jacket still has the same pallet. I haven't made any of these in a few weeks so I would have to check tonite when I get off work.

Try using the new Basic Camos. They come in the same palette as the Spec-Ops Duster.

Oh wow really? I have not made any of those yet. Seems everyone and their mother wants the hooded cloak or the leia skirt.

The Basic Camos match PERFECTLY with the spec-ops jacket. The palettes are identical, and the outfit is magnificent.
The expanded colours on the Long Formal Jacket are 5 grades of Black. No other colours, and the levels of black are pretty similar, like the levels of brown and grey that it used to be. The darkest black is a very nice intelligence officer jacket. I highly recommend it!

Agreed. I have also found that you can use the basic camos in a solid (make both options the same) color if you need pants to matchanything with that same palatte, like cloaks, dusters, boots and so on.

Unfortunatly you cant use black as Imperial Intelligence. The I.I. uniform is a cream/offwhite jacket, black trousers, black boots and black gloves. Imperial Security Bureau are supposed to wear a dark red uniform I think. Its just a shame they havent given us the ability to roleplay anything other than bog-standard troops/pilots. We need more uniform colours, and we need the option to buy rank badges from the faction recruiter/pilot recruiter which show your current rank bars on your chest and occupy the necklace jewelry clothing slot.
