I recommend all you tailors crossdress your vendors so you get a chance to see what guys look like in the women only clothes and women look like in men only clothes. Not as great as you would expect.
I wouldn't leave them like that though since it doesn't look very good for someone to come in a buy somehting from a guy dressed worse than they are.

Well if the vendor can wear something, a guy buys it and then discovers he can't wear it - total chaos!

I wish I had some male vendors, just so I could play dress up for a day. /giggle

LOL! So the Zabrak I saw in the Cloaked Dress is not alone? Ha ha! Okay, I will have to go make a male vendor and go stash him in a side room and play dress-up with him. Oh wow! What a fun way to "delete" stuff you were going to destroy anyway! Weeee!

Yep, male vendors can wear female stuff, and they're not supposed to be able to do so. I've referred this issue to DocSavag, the merchant correspondent. If you observe this, or wish to test it, or have any details on it, please post in the merchant forum.

Oooo. Okay, so far: Tried putting a Revealing Fleshwrap on male vendors. Male Twi'lek says, "No, I won't wear that." And is now nekkid. Trandoshan said no and is now nekkid. Weequay said, "Thanks for the snazzy new threads boss!" and is now wearing a fleshwrap. Eeep! But it clips very badly and looks like tattered strips of cloth are stuck to him, some in very unmentionable places.
Will add more "testing" soon. *lines up nekkid male vendors* Oh boy. I got my own Chippendales here! 
Ha ha! Tested Weequay: Offered him a Frock. He accepted it. Clipped badly across the chest, shoulders and wrists. Gave him a Flared Cuffed Shirt. He accepted it. Left him naked from the waist down. Separated his lower body from his torso and his head from his shoulders. Ack! I dismembered the Weequay. Here is a screenie. Bad Weequay!

I am so going to have to experiment tonight with this. I see in my male Twi'Lek vendors future a gold metal bikini paired with some bikini leggings. Actually, I think the males have always been able to wear bikini leggings, but it'll have a nice look to it

Yep. A pair of bikini leggings, a simple vest and a large headwrap make the basis ofa fun genie/Mr. Clean costume for guys. So far I have only managed to get one guy to wear it though.

I had never even thought of that...
On a side note: Fleshwrap + Male vendor = dismembered, or reaaaaaally bad looking. Just say no to crossdressing vendors!
