Ok I am just curious about 2 tailors working together . Who does it and who has done it? Do you like it bether than working alone and for people that have done it and didn't like it why not?
Also what kind of partnership do you have? Is it full partnership or limited?
Thank you for your responses.

I had a great partnership set up with Syzygy. Unfrotunately, at the time when our business really got off the ground, a lot of stuff happened to me IRL (the bar, boy issues) which caused me to be a very bad stocker. If I had been in business solo, I would have probably closed up, but instead I stocked sporadically (and found it a chore because my heart wasn't in it), and felt guilty about not stocking. In theory, it's a good idea because you can "take up the slack" for each other, but when you have something happen, even if it's a sudden disinterest in tailoring for a few weeks, it's problematic, because it's not fair to your partner to just wander off.

I have a partner in my business... I mean, we both love it, but we both are pretyt good at doing our part. Recently, she has written a book and is working on getting it published, so she has not been ingmae much. It has been hard to keep a shop that size stocked, but.... it is usually worth it when you are both there (majority of the time)

Well, Chiana and I have been trying to setup a partnership lately, but it seems neither of us are on at the same time
. Maybe once we get something going, we can report back how we feel about a partnership.
BTW Chiana, we need to get together sometime /wink /wink /nudge /nudge

I have my solo business that I stock with what you would normally expect to find on a Tailor Vendor. But I also have a partnership that deals exclusively with Wedding Attire. I take care of the Men's and my partner takes care of the Women's. As far as I can tell, it's working out nicely, but we've just started this adventure.

I sent you an in game email. You must log in much later than myself. I could just give you admin rights to the merchant tent and let you set up if you like.

I think a partner would probably find it odd how much I talk to myself in my house. Probably spoil our friendship once they realize how neurotic I can be

I'm probably not qualified to put in my take on a tailoring partnership, as my RL hubby and I are both now Master Tailors and had started our business together as soon as I started playing. We have worked it out so we are both stocking (although I think I might stock more than he does, I change outfits toooften
), but we still leave time to do other things, like hunt together and things like that. We're actually thinking of expanding -OK- Creations into a whole "one stop shop", adding arch items and foods.I don't know what it would be like to go into a partnership with an acquaintance or someone you aren't good friends with, but I think if you are both dedicated and feel that working together will improve sales, I say go for it. One can be the salesman, and the other the shop designer, changing out the decorations and such. Or maybe one can specialize in BE and the other in formalwear. I don't know, I think it depends on your reasons for wanting to do it, and finding someone who feels the same way. I hope this helps a little!

Like I recommend everywhere, partner up with an armorsmith. They compliment each other very well.
