It's known that certain skirts cause an armor hole when wearing a mini-suit (Helmet/Chest/Gloves/Boots), but I haven't been able to find any list of which skirts do this. Before I go beating up Jantas in Composite and an Extremely Revealing Skirt, I was wondering if any testing has been done on the issue (or at least a list of a couple known skirts that create the armor hole).

Last time I tried a mini suit with my combat character with pants that are known *not* to have an armor hole I was getting hit a lot in the legs. I think that the mini-suit does not work anymore, or at least you have to add armor pants to it. This is too bad because as far as I am concerned, the more clothes you wear, the better!

Hmm weird. Last time I went in the "bare bones" armor and my hawtpants, I didn't have a problem. But I haven't been whapping anything for about 2-3 weeks.

I noticed it about a week ago. I needed some hides so I logged in as my combat character, got into my 4 piece suit, got buffed and went looking for rancors. They almost killed me and I had to run away! Then I went home and gota full Ubese suit and everything was fine.

I think I saw something about this being fixed in a patch note last week or in a discussion thread. If I have time later, I'll see if I can find a link to it.
Basically, its back to "Attack of the Composite Clones" again

Here is the awful truth:
There is NO mini-suit issue. Without removing same suit.. same pants, same armor. Sometimes you get damaged directly without any blocking by armor, sometimes not. It is completely luck... (even in same pool) .. It completely depends on NPC. I got damaged by 9274 (yes, you have read true) by an Elder, rebuffed gone and this time armor blocked most of damage.
Beside Hawtpants can cause extra holes in some cases.

Ikilled a GDK in a mini-suit with an ubese shirt and padded work pants yesterday and had no attacks slip through. The issue is usually with high level NPCsor players inPvPwho usecertain special moves that target random pools (a la unarmed hit 3/polearm hit3/ etc). These attacks will sometimes specifically seek out legs or arms. You should have zero issue mini-suiting vs any level critters or low-med NPCs and only occasional issues vs high end NPCs.
I have no input on the skirt issue as I wear pants, but my girlfriend wears a skirt with her mini-suit and does not have problems.

I wore regular striped pants and had no problem, but soon as I put on my exremely revealing skirt or tactical skinsuit under my armor I started getting the heck beat out of me horribly. I had to make a hasty retreat and change into something else, it was as if my armor wasnt even on
