Thread: New, uncraftable clothing...?

I'm talking with my friends, and someone asks me (being the resident tailor) if I've heard of the changes to the Maurder Themepark or whatever on Endor. I go '...No.' and they tell me that it seems that this series of quests - which use to give armour - now give new clothing. He mentioned that he saw a jacket he'd never seen before that had bell sleeves and fur along the edges, but wasn't the Wooly Jacket. So I'm wondering - Has anyone done this recently and can confirm/deny this? He showed me one shirt he got, but it was the Trimed Lined Shirt which isn't anything new. I'm probably going to take my combat alt onto this quest to see if I can A) Do it and B) Confirm/deny it, but thought I'd pass on the tidbit of info along.

I'm thinking I'm understanding the frusation of the weaponsmiths/armoursmiths if this turns out to be true...

Well, I was able to do it, and I think I figured out what confused my friend. He must not have realized when he did it that whatever he killed gave him the Trim Lined Shirt, not the quest itself. The armour is still given out, however it's 100/100 condition, no stats, and doesn't say it's armour or not. I did all the quests in there expect for Charal's, and that's because she wouldn't talk to me.

However, I HAVE confirmation that there's a new backpack given out on one of the Hunting Ground missions. People say it looks like a metal bug on your back and you get it from killing Chiss Poachers. I'll try to get a screenie of it, but don't hold your breath.

Well, in the Imp Retreat there is a JTL guy wearing a really nice red/black robe that is uncraftable I believe.

I've seen a few NPCs with currently uncraftable clothing. I've been taking screenies of them when I do, but I haven't had the opportunity to post them anywhere. When I do, I'll bring a link over this way.

There's a jacket/coat that the guy under the vendor tent outside the first slaver camp on Kashyyyk is wearing. I saw another female NPC with a really neat looking belt (non-hula hoop, too!) that hung slanted like a holster would.

most of the NPCs in the Myyydril Caverns have the holstered belt... it's really nice looking, dang it.

what we want to see is the uncraftble stuff dropping,

old story of NPCs wearing stuff we can't make go poke a nightsister for that tale.

BUT if killing things drops articles we can't make that's another story..

I still have pics of my great wall of 'robe's and the 'padded vest' room for insanity reasons...

I hope they add new stuff in soon, I personally would love to see Charal's metal bustier as a quest item that you could wear.

I noticed the Sayormi witches in the dead forest were also wearing clothing we cannot make.

I have my lekku crossed that if there is new clothing art for NPCs we might get some as part of the non-combat professions revamp (if it ever comes).
