The pallette is not broken, it is now fixed to its position though

meaning we can't line them up as so many of us always had done

You can 'scroll' for the colors should any drop below the windows veiw,
But you cannot line them up nice and clean for easy pcikins'

It's very annoying! While our common complaint was that sometimes it was 3 columns and sometimes 2 columns, our proposed solution would NOT have been "hmm let's have the palette colors always be in the same position, and let's have the colors permanently arranged in a confusing stair-step configuration."

If this happened to ID, I would likely spend 2 hours with each client just figuring out where all the colors are.

what gets me is how it was aligned, I mean c'mon surely you could have made them not staggered so x/y tables could still be useful

I admit I actually had mine staggered, but I am one for the whole, I would gladly give up how I do it for the some many who are lost now.
