Could someone tell me what will fill that slot.

I'd like to buy a lot of it as well.

FYI -

You can still make the synth cloth without the bio component. Just leave it empty.

Bio-Engineers can make a number of tissues that can fill that sub-component. They essentially make your creation into something that will modify a skill. You will also find the same slot on Reinforced Fiberplast Panels, which accomodate other Bio-Engineer creations.

That said, the Bio-engineer tissue components are full of bugs. Your Correspondent has been kind enough to add this to their list but the more voices that are raised, the better. So send in a /bug report asking them to fix Bio-engineer tissues for tailors. The faster that stuff gets fixed, the sooner you guys can be mass-producing clothes that are functional in addition to being attractive.

**** shameless plug *****

Malcor is a Bio Engineer on Gorath who is always happy to help tailors with BE components. I'm ONLY working on the Tissue line...and am halfway to Tissue II.

Send me a tell...Malcor on Gorath (currently on Naboo near Theed on 8-12)

I was actually wondering if anyone had any problems with crafting synthetic cloths? I'm a BE, and recently made novice Tailor as well, so yesterday I was trying to make some synthetic cloths to use as I make my clothing. i created the biological components first, and then opened the schematic to find that they weren't even an option to be added to that slot. I unfiltered my inventory and tried to add it anyway, and it said that item couldn't be used there. I asked another Tailor about him, gave him some bio components, and he tried as well. He said they were able to be added to the reinforced fiberplast panel, but not the synthetic cloth. I tried just about every component I can make, and wasn't able to add any of them to the synthetic cloth. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm thinking maybe a recent patch affected it.

No bug, just certain components are only able to be added to cloth and others are only able to be added to reinforced fiber. For example, the myloflex and Biosensors are only able to be put into synthetic cloth. The Confidence Cloth and Constrictor Cloth on the other hand are only able to be put into reinforced fiber.

That's a very good point, and I'll keep it in mind, my only problem is that I did have some myoflex in my inventory, and they wouldn't work either :-(

Odd... I've got Tissues II, and have never had an issue with any of the BE tailoring components not going into the slots.

Um...maybe a dumb question but is it possible they must be 'factory produced' tissues? Can you even make tissues in a factory? I don't know, I have just gotten started in tailor so I haven't used any tissue components yet but am very curious what you find out.

As of right this minute, no. Each component has to be hand-made by a Bio engineer.
