Thread: AAAA! All Clothing Has to be Recategorized in Vendors!!!
I'm thrilled that clothing now has subcategories. I'm distraught that ALL PRE-EXISTING CLOTHES in my vendor were not sorted accordingly, and now say "unknown object type." I have to withdraw each item from my vendor, retrieve it, and relist it in order for the clothes to now show up under "clothing." Otherwise they show up under "All".
Anyone else experience this? It's going to be a LONG morning.

Thanks,
Bridik
You have to withdraw the item, retrieve it, then relist it. Merely reselling it from the stockroom won't recategorize the item.
Also, a friend checked out the bazaar, and reports that nothing is listed. I imagine sellers will have to do the same with their bazaar items.

Jeez. I just got my level to have an additional vendor last night...I spent all night organizing those clothes, and now I have to do it again? There's no love for us Tailors.
Really well said, Sue.
I saw my items not showing up on the Bazaar and I promptly logged out instead of reacting in a bad way.
Oh no....*looks at her 130 item inventory*....and deleting all that 'auction cancelled' mail..I think I'll just have my vendor say : "Welcome! Please look for items under the category 'ALL' "
LOL
I have my items down to 92 in my house, and it still says too full?!? What is the new limit??
SoleilTailor, I believe the current limit is 25 items for small house and 50 items for medium. Not too sure about large. However I also believe that is bugged atm and the limit is supposed to be bigger, but not bigger than pre-bigpatch. If ya know what I mean. ![]()
This is so going to put us out of business. If I have a small house, and after putting in furniture to make it look nice, I have no more slots left to showcase my clothes. LOL.
My vendor is not bugged ( although i still cant drop items in my house). I can confirm that if you retrieve and resell items they do appear correctly (categorised)in the vendor AND bazaar. I disagree with some of the categories ( ie there is a category for wookie clothing but wookie gloves and waist warps dont appear in that cateory - they are elsewhere- and skirts are a 'misc clothing' item).
people can still seeprevious items in your vendor under 'all' - but not a thing under clothing. In a vendor that stocks only clothes its not such an issue as they can select all - but in a bazaar it means that your clothes are lost in the 'all' and simply dont appear in the clothing category.
same goes for deeds - which has been moved from misc to its own top level 'deed' category
