Thread: Item Limit includes VENDORS?
I finally made Business III, after having set up my fashion house with outfit displays, and excitedly created a big ol' chunky vendor. I got ready to drop it into my house and was told I had too many items.... OK, so i read the forums and see that the limit to housing is now 50 for a small.I had well over 50 items just in my show room. I spent half an hour destroying, running back and forth to the city attempting to sell my excess items, to finally create a 'minimalist showroom' of 4 outfits and a couple of sexy *cough* orange couches. This is after I removed all my ingredients (which I normally carry around anyway).
ROP: the chunky vendor has been made (why can't we 'move' or 'rotate' these like all the other items in a house?) Time to sell an item. OR NOT. All my items are invalid. Again i rummage thru the posts andascertain that this supposedly means i am over my item limit amongst the other possible explanations. WHAT? so the limit includes what is on your vendor? Am I misunderstanding something, or is this the case? Are we calling this a 'bug' now to hide a really bad design decision? DEV's what areyou doing? Everyday this game is becoming more and more painful. Unpaid Beta was more exciting.
As a tailor, or a crafter for that matter, if I can't set up a decent shop then what the"...." am i doing? What is the focus for my profession then? Selling in the streets from a mangy old back pack? Bring a little sophistication back by allowing Artisans toaesthetically enhance the gaming experience as creators of original and stylish public spaces!!!
I hope this is rectified by coming to some sought of median between too many items and too few. I want these urges to discontinue mypaidBeta account to diminish.

1. Currently, the house item limit does include vendor items.
2. It's not supposed to - it's a bug.
3. It's supposed to be fixed today so that it won't, along with raising the house item limit to 75 per lot from the current 25.
Pretty sure house limits were including vendor items only if you had a chunky terminal vendor.
That wil probably get lifted today - we'll see.
I know NPC vendors didn't do that. Probably why there are so many conflicting reports, cause both are correct - just depends what kind of vendors you have.
