Thread: Alichai: Backpacks with Robes and Jackets nerfed?
"There was a change that certain clothes do not stack with backbacks anymore. This may be the cause of some backbacks disappearing. To help us check this, please remove your robe or jacket or whatever, log off and log back on. Please let us know if you can see your backpack after you do that."
That's a quote from Q-3PO today. This was NOWHERE in the patch notes from testing or live. We'd reported this as a bug and as far as I can tell it was never acknowledged. Now we find out about this?
Can you try and find out why this was done? Why we were never told about this and when it will be fixed please? If they won't fix it, can we please get a list of "certain clothes" that are affected? Is armor affected as well? If not, let them share the misery too!
This is extremely bad for Tailors limiting us like this from what I imagine would be either substandard database or graphics issues. Especially with no official notice or warning.
argh!
more restrictions on clothing!
customers are already upset about not being able to wear dusters over skinsuits, female non-bothan only Grand Healer Robes, etc...but now this?!
=(
i'm afraid to log in...
"If you guys had read the tailor report posts I had here and test center you would have been aware."
I'd been following your wonderful reports from the test center and had assumed it was a bug like you did, but now it appears as if it were an intended tailor nerf.
What's sad is you've been posting in on the TC, and yet SOEstill couldn't manage to put it in patch notes.
Well, they're going to have some long days of making backpacks reappear I think...but yes, this is not good for the bottom line in Casual III. Still have the bustiers though. Thank goodness.
I've found that cloaks still sell pretty well for me on test, even with a disclaimer on the description.
At least Double Robes, the various hats and the Decorative Dress tend to selll well for me.
Am I the only one that finds the statement "...Robes and Jackets nerfed"? Is it just 'cos I'm and English BA that I find the word 'nerf' completely overused? Has 'nerf' lost all meaning to anyone else from hearing it so much? Is it even possible to 'nerf' clothing?
I need to stop reading these boards....![]()
