Thread: Master Tailor/Armorcrafter Bug
Hello Everyone,
Is anyone able to tell me how long the Master Tailor/Armorcrafter Bug has been in game? I've never visited the forums before tonight and wasn't aware of the bug until I gained Novice Armorsmith last night. My search for an answer led me here where I saw the bug detailed in the technical issues list.
Just trying to find out if this is something I can expect to see fixed soon, or if I need to ditch my desire to be a Master Tailor/Master Armorcrafter (along with the tons of resources I've been stockpiling to level through Armorsmith).
Thanks,
Meico
Meico,
This has always been in game. It has to do with the schematic limit on crafting tools. I don't remember the exact number, but each crafting tool can only use a certain number of schematics. Since clothing and armor are created with the same crafting tool, having high levels of tailor and high levels of armorsmith bugs your crafting tool out.
It worries those of us who aren't wanting to be tailor/armorsmiths as well. Those of us who just want to be tailors are worried that they'll add more clothing schematics to the game before this issue gets fixed and we'll all wind up bugged.
There are two solutions that I can see. They can raise the schematic limit on crafting tools. I don't know much about programming, so I don't know how hard this would be. They could also just leave the schematic count the way it is and make clothing crafting tools and armor crafting tools two seperate items.
We've never heard any type of dev response as far as an ETA on a fix for this issue.
Hope that helps answer your question.
Im unsure how many of you have seen the post regarding the Tailor / armoursmith professions. Someone asked the question whether the armour hues were supposed to be dependent on our tailoring line and they arent. Its a bug they are working on atm.
Just mentioning this in case anyone else (like me!) was going to take up armoursmithing purely cos of the new coloured armour needing tailoring anyway
Kind Regards
