Okay on Test Center bracelets are assigned to a certain wrist and can't be worn on both wrists. Now I have been hearing that on some live servers certain bracelets can be worn on both wrists.

Anyone confirm or deny this? I'm intrigued that there may be a posibility to wear two bangles instead of one!

Maybe they were talking about different items? Like, my character has bangles on one wrist and a bracelet on the other, but I can't have 2 bangles or 2 bracelets. Maybe that's what they meant.

Nah the person who told me this said that on some live servers (not all of them) you can wear bangles at the same time on both wrists and other stuff like the Golden Band.. etc.

She seemed surprised you could only wear them on one specific wrist on the test server. (Bangels always on the left wrist, metal bracelet always on the right...)

I've run into this with the metal band. Several customers have insisted they see people wearing two of them. I managed to track down one dancer who had one looted and one crafted, though I doubt she's the same person all these people saw. I've also talked to some who have one looted but it equips on the same side as a crafted. I do know that definitely, there are dark jedi npc's that wear one on each wrist, but aside from that one dancer, I've yet to see it on another player. My guess is that there's a random chance of looting either the left or right equipping band from an NPC, since the game is allowing NPC's to wear 2.

I have wondered if they could make everyone happy on this issue by adding 2 optional component slots to bracelets, and the slot you put the component in determines if it equips left or right.

Well I definately have never been able to wear two bangles at the same time. I can wear a bangle and a metal bracelet.

If you go through the "Emporer's Retreat" and get up to do missions for "The Emperor" you will eventually be rewarded with two Bangles. They come as a set and can be worn on opposing wrists so you can wear two at once.
