Thread: What is your price on BH Packs?
Anyone who plays on Starsider can tell you how hard it can be to come by Thoranium Steel. I think we've only had it twice and then it was only for a very short ammount of time. Anyway I just payed handsomely for 1k units of it, enough to make quite a few BH packs. I want to run a special on them in my shop but really I have no idea what to charge for them...
So what is your price on BH packs?

It varies from server to server. On Gorath they go for 5k each because we got thoranium steel for the first time EVER 2-days ago. So asking what the price of anything with rare materials is a crap shoot at best unless you specify a server.
we had thoranium steel in Ahazi the first week, and some people kept some. most of us waited until just a few days ago, and i've been having no problem selling them for 3k (same as my spec-op packs)
Kettemoor had thoranium steel a few weeks ago, and I was lucky enough to get quite a stock of it, so I can't see me raising that price particularly. We're a fairly low-priced server for tailored items compared to some, anyway.
I sell Spec-Ops Packs for 2000, but may raise this price as stocks of titanium aluminium are running very, very low.
I sell mine for 2500 each on Starsider.
Contrary to what the original poster mentioned, there was a HUGE glut of Thoronium Steel in the early days of the server. When the game went live, there were huge concentrations just outside of Coronet and as luck would have it many artisans created their new character in Coronet and of course everyone and their dog was AFK sampling. Since you could sample a 90%+ spot in Coronet iteself for the steel ... it was the natural thing to sample even if you didn't need it. Add to that the fact that there was no resource turnover on Starsider for over a month, and that is one heckova lot of Thor Steel ![]()
My advise to the original poster is to try to contact someone who was around the first month of the game. As there are huge stockpiles of the stuff out there ... and no ... you can't have any of mine ![]()
