Thread: Tailors Unite
Well allwant our itemsfixed, right? Well, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, as my grand-daddy used to tell me.
So, let's make our voices heard. Submit bug reports and (if you're in the US and can afford it) call the customer service line. Find ANY way you can and complain. Often. Everytime you log in. The more we complain, the faster they will fix it. It's sad, but it's true. Every single time you make a necklace, a luxurious gown, pocketed shorts... any of the bugged items.. submit a bug report. Ask your customers to do the same.
SOE has already admitted that they prioritize bug fixes by the number of bug reports they receive on an issue. Well, let's let them hear us. I'm NOTadvocating spamming CSRs when they are online, or submitting CS Tickets. CSRs are not developers and can't do a blessed thing about this. Let them handle the things they can take care of. But if we /bug every time we make a bugged item, it will get fixed. It's a low priority, because not enough people care enough to complain through the official system.
Alright.. start the flame wars....

I'll have to work hard to catch up for all the times i didnt submit a bug report and didnt ![]()
Frankly, I do wish with all my heart having our items fixed but honestly ...
I see two sides of the fence. I am a master tailor. I am griping about borken colors or backpack unfriendly dresses all day long.
However, I put CSR tickets and bug reports during 3 consecutive weeks to get a reimbursment for dozens of credits of unretrievable purchased items. To no avail. All tickets got purged, unread, after one week.
I have a pending ticket since sunday about a storeroom bug that ate ALL items in my merchant's inventories, multiple hundreds of thousands of credits lost. Still no answer, ticker will probably be purged, unread, next weekend.
And as I am not only a tailor, and have another account, I could bitch more about other, combat or travel related game breaking, crippling bug.
So while I am 100% motivated to get our points across, let's put things into perspective. Bazaar and Merchants bugs I am suffering from are, way, way more of a piority than the luxurious gown color. Spamming in game bug reporting tools could certainly help solving clothing bugs ... but as a customer waiting for answers and fixes on what I consider game breaking issues that should be handled within days, with immediate CSR support and hotfixing ... well, let's keep the in game CSR and bug systems clean of spamming, so that urgent issues can be fixed too.
I don't want this to sound like a flame. But let's keep things into perspective before (ab)using the in game bug and CSR systems. Thanks.
I'm honoring the strike, encouraging my fellow tailors to do the same, and educating customers on the issues (with surprisingly little negative feedback). I don't know if it's crafter burnout or the strike, but I've already noticed that the availability of clothing in my region has dropped significantly.
If people can't buy clothes, it ceases to be a compartmentalized "tailor" issue and becomes an issue that affects everybody.
