Okay, so I purchased armor.... that didn't work because of Encumberance issues.

I said to myself "Self, you should get some skill enhancing clothes and just give armor a pass."

So that's what I did, well, I got socket clothes at least and picked up my first skill enhancing item. Turns out this one looks like a piece of armor component and doesn't fit with any of my stuff.

I'm told the tape ones do work with clothes. Great! But I come here and it looks like they work with clothes but they don't actually DO anything for you.

Can someone clear this mess up for me? What exactly is supposed to happen and does it happen? Please tell me so I don't waste time running all over the Galaxy looking for skill enhancers that don't actually enhance anything.

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

save your time and your money--skill enhanced clothing (both Bio Engineered and Skill Enhancer tapes/plates) do nothing in actuality. You can, theorectically, drag-n-drop a tape into a socket and it becomes a permanent part of the clothing. However, the concensus is that all of these are broken.

Hopefully, this will be fixed in the near future.
