Thread: Hiring a Master Tailor

I posted this on the Bria board, but will cross over here as well.

I am a Master Ranger on Bria, just hit my title a little over a week ago. One of the things I promised myself when I hit the title, was to treat myself to a new set of clothing. After much thought, I have decided I would like a different outfit for each planet, matching the color schemes/feel of each planet. Also I am needing a very nice formal outfit as well, forguild events, etc.

Basically, concept here is to look really, really good while I am out hunting down those vile beasties. I would prefer to work with just one Master Tailor, to help streamline the process. I am open to new ideas/progressive thinking in the creation of the outfits, but want this to be a truly collaborative process.

I pay well for services rendered, always have/always will. Feel free to post here, send me a /tell in game or an e-mail.

Just FYI, there are many other tailors that can accomplish this task, that are not yet masters. Masters can make about 15 more items then level 4 of each other class. Half of those items are likely not to apply to you since you are a formal or combat class and not entertanor class. Anyway, just wanted to get that message out that there are fantastic non-master tailors that would love to do this with you.

Thanks for the post Benj. Aye, I agree there are many Tailors who have not reached Master title who can make some very nice clothes. Wasn't trying to be elitist per se. I advertised for a Master Tailor knowing they have the full range of experimentation/colors and so forth.

I am thinking the best method, as well as what I had originally in mind, was for my contact person to be a single Master Tailor. Helping him/her to fulfill my order would be a number of other Tailors of varying ranks. My vision is of a "well-to-do" gentleman walking into a clothing shop, the Master Tailor of the shop steps up and determines the needs of the patron and then the shop becomes a flurry of cloth and thread as tailors swarm the client, matching swaths of materials, all working together to create a work of art. A Master Tailor along with a number of other Tailors, all in the same guild, would be choice.

Once again, I agree with you Benj. I have seen many nice items out there, just looking for those nine or so outfits that scream "**edit** that Ranger looks fine".

can't argue with your logic. I'm not a master, but I wish I had you as a customer

Oh man. . . /whap self

I never got back to you. I met this fine gentlemen on Bria. He was quite polie about what he wanted and I was going to craft it for him, but that very same day my factory disappeared, cutting off me from my factory crates. Since I was completely out of Synth Cloth, I had to tell me "Sorry, can't help ya!"

I musta lost his name in my last friends list purge.

Beek, I'll try to get in contact with ya. Sorry I flaked on ya, man.
