Hunting around the house with some neighbors tonight, and suddenly one of our party is standing there bare naked - not boxers and undershirt, but Ken doll naked. He'd been wearing a fighter flightsuit, and when he first put it on, we could all see it, but after a few minutes it disappeared. He still saw it on his screen, but nobody else did. It was only the flightsuit, his belt,boots and CE glasses were still visible. Anyone seeing this with other items?

Yes - I have been asked by a few customers, "Where did my duster go?" - It seems to come back if they log.

Also (not tailor issue but disappearing item nonetheless) every time I pick up a house I turn invisible and have NO deed until I go inside a structure. I accidentally figured that out while running around screaming, "where am I and where is my deed?"

Yes, I've seen all of those happen. Along with the bug, where after they purchase from vendor, and equipt it, 5 minutes later it will appear gone to them, but not to the rest of us. Sometimes a log fixes it. Sometimes just a long time or a day fixes it. Very annoying.

This was happening every time people bought clothing from me yesterday. I told them to relog and their items should appear for them. It seems to have worked because I then didnt hear anything more.

Relogging often doesn't help, you have to wait for the next reset. However, I took some clothes from my vendor and it disappeared, and I haven't seen it back yet and it's been 2 days, so I'm starting to worry that some items really disappear

But really I'm so fed up with it that I feel guilty for selling clothes now, as I just know I will get a tell afterwards asking where the clothes are gone... One customer yesterday wouldn't leave me alone until I got him a replacement for a signet that had disappeared, so I lost 2k there. Luckily he's the first one and the others haven't come back to me when I told them to wait one day but I'm convinced that half of them are going to avoid my shop from now on. It really sucks.

this happens to me a lot. i'm on/near a server boundary, so i get severe zoning problems (with both items and xp, but that's a whole other thread)

a lot of customers that buy stuff from my place experience the "disappearing item" bug, and in all known cases completely logging out (ie your char leaves the server) and logging back in brings the items back. /logout doesn't immediately takeyou off the server, so i advise people tostayout forat least5 minutes.

i have a backpack near my vender labeled "if your items disappear, log out and log back on after 5-10 minutes". i really don't want to move my shop (it's a short walk outside kaadara), and not selling anything isn't good for my business

Best thing is to tell everyone who buys something to log out immediately after and don't equip anything they just got until after a relog. If they do put it on without a relog and it vanishes then logging out naked and staying logged out for about 10 minutes usually makes it reappear.

good idea about the backup...allthough it may also scare potential purchases away...but probably worth it to not have to answer all those followup tells

Funny that someone posted this as i am trying to figure out what causes this. A good 90-98% of my customers items disppear from my shop near moenia naboo. I am trying to figure out if this is due to it being tailored items, shop location, or just a common occurance game wide. If its a location issue, how do u tell where a boundary line is? Would hate to move 150 display items + vendors to another spot near another boundary line. Thanks.

It's game wide, happened to me with harvester deeds, furniture, clothes, as soon as they come from a NPC vendor.

Good idea for the back pack going to do this now
