Thread: Help male master tailor make outfit!
OK, after much long struggle and countless wasted resources, I finally made Master Tailor.
All during the trek I could never find an outfit that looked good on me. There were basically two choices: Look like everyone else black/camo/matrix style, or have ever customer tell me I look like a homosexual. I don't mind that, but I would like something that is striking, distinctive, and yet still masculine! It seems lots of the clothes are female only, and I was hoping master tailor would bring me SOMETHING new.
The traders flightsuit (looks kind of like a Dune stillsuit) is kinda cool, but just isn't working. The Smock look is great, but certainly doesn't scream master tailor.
What are you (male) tailors wearing? I'm trying to avoid the combat look though, I want something that a character might wear to an expensive dinner party or to the academy awards or something.
Don't forget to suggest colors
Thanks everyone!
LOL..
How about a trimmed shirt in a pale blue with dress slacks in a dark grey, boots and gloves.
Or a dress uniform jacket over a side buttoned shirt, dress slacks, gloves and uniform boots.
Suit shirt is nice, the burgundy looks great with a black tie, comfortable pants in black, black dress shoes and a pilots jacket to bring it all together and you are set for a formal dinner. Leather trim shirts are also a great male shirt for those formal evening events. Hope that helps a bit=).
My skintone is the darkest brown and i have white facial tatoos and horns. I wear a darkbrown with white stripe tactical suit with matching darkbrown and white paneled boots. That's my main outfit that I wear when in towns and you won't believe the business I do on tact suits alone. ^_^
Well, if you don't want formal wear and want to go out into the field, I recommend the Trader's Flightsuit with a short vest over it for color. Plated necklace for effect, sturdy or thermal boots for the legs. Black gloves.

right now i'm wearing:
dark red muscle shirt
dress uniform jacket - red shoulders, white body
white with red stripes large pocket pants
black uniform boots
i've gotten tons of complements on the jacket, and have had at least 5 requests for the exact same outfit in different colors over the past couple days.
Dress uniform jacket - black shoulders / gold (or white)chest
Padded workpants - black / gold (or white) kneepads
Sturdy boots - black / black
Reinforced work shirt - black / whitewrists (optional)
Heavy crystal symbol (optional)
Also a doctor's dress black / yellow front & heavy crystal symbol gets attention pretty well too ![]()
Black tactical Skinsuit with muted blue trim, muted blue and black sturdy boots, decorative belt, Silver Pendant, muted blue tipless gloves, BH back Pack.. and a black sunguard when I am out and about.

a couple of outfits my male customers seem to absolutly love
Ribbed pants any color looks nice most prefer white, black or red but the yellow and green are awesome also. The pants look like nice leather when made (as you know)
match this with a matching rugged jacket and a plain shirt (white, or whatever color you like) along with wrapped or HQ boots.. These are lower level tailor items to make but are an awesome combo..
if you want a more formal look you go with the same as above but make a decorative vest, match the vest to the pants as well as the plain shirt (or dress shirt) and make the scarf thingy whatever color you like.. White is really awesome.
Also the large pocket pants with a solid color (red, blue, green or black) and the stripe white.. with a matching white dress shirt or plain shirt.. black uniform gloves and boots.. no jacket or wear asimple vest in black.. looks really nice.
anyway.. they aren't high level stuff but I've found that you miss out on some awesome combo's for clothing if you limit yourself to only high end stuff ![]()
grats on master
HAH! Heavy Reinforced Jacket, Work Pants, and Sturdy Boots...OWNAGE muahahahaha
o_o
Lately I've been wearing a grey cloak (hey, at least it's not black!) with a matching muscle shirt, and some thin striped pants of the same color. I also enjoy wearing a padded jacket with thin striped pants in more colorful colors, but like you said, sometimes I wonder if I may be giving the wrong impression, lol.
