Well now since its clear that with the new Imp Tie Suits THAT LOOK AWSOME, its very clear that we can have Pure Jet Black clothes in the game. Now I dont know about you, but I am tired of the fadded looking black clothes that we currently have that look more dark green then black. I also feel we should have pure white as well for clothes instead of I havent washed my whites in months so they look a bit tattered.
So I suggest that we be allowed to make JET BLACK & PURE WHITE clothes for all items now as a tailor. The work just needs to be done by SOE to make all the clothes work with that color. So please support this issue because I am tired of these 2 washed out colors.....

maybe you need to adjust your moniter - the colours look fine to me - if they were 100% pure colours they would have no detail or shading

Yep, if the clothes were pure black-as-your-soul they would actually look really stupid as there would be no shading or detail. The effect would be really cartoonish. No thanks. And while some of the white clothes do wind up being a bit too dingy looking, I suspect an exremely pure white would look goofy and unnatural as well.
But first try fixing your gamma settings. Every person I've ever had complain to me in-game that their black clothes weren't black enough had badly adjusted settings either accidentally or because they messed with the gamma so they could see in-game better at night.

Oh, you want even more people running around thinking they look cool in their black hat, black shirt, black pants, black gloves and black duster? No thanks.

Oh I get I am the crazy one? I guess NONE of you read here what I posted. That would be kinda weird that my monitor needs adjustment on the tailor made black clothes, YET the jet black tie fighter outfit they just made that i am wearing does look jet black to me. Ya that makes a lot of sense. Please think before you type!

Insulting the posters here will not garner support for your petition.

I wish I could make pure jet black clothing, that faded black you get with most clothing does get boring. I say give us a glossy black and white at master.
I mean cmon guys, more options is good! Even if it is better blacks and whites!

As long as they are properly shaded and not "Flat" I'd say go for the pure white and black.
But if it comes anywhere near the flat-black bleeding splotch colors that were in Ultima Online I'll scream and chuck the SWG-cd out the window in frustration.

Just think of the casual shoes if you could make the outer/lower color a glossy black, and the upper color a glossy white
, SPATS! (not the bird, theshoe)They'd go great with my suit outfit.

Dude, like donna42 said (I think it was him/her) If we had pure black or white clothing, there would be no shading and it would look crappy. I play medal of honor and someone in my clan made and all gray skin, and he just looks like a mass of gray (looks cool but also looks stupid at the same time..lol go figure)

Sorry, I just look at it as realism. If I wear a black sweater with black denim jeans, the blacks look different. This is really just the same thing.
