I think this may be why my non-BE vendor does not sell any clothing, unless people just want BE clothes. My BE vendor still does a huge buisness but virtually nothing is selling my regular non-BE enhanced clothing vendor. And I had just spent at least 2 days restocking it completely with all kinds of items.

Yep. Knew this was coming. It was part of that vendor nerf announcement. The devs decided to delay implementation of the item limit nerf to rework it (supposedly will be in the next publish), but the increase to the bazaar limit was a lock for this publish.

Once the holo tailors die off, and the market pricesadjust to their new standards of what was 3k is now 6k, things should more or less return to normal. We'll definitely see more higher level clothes on the bazaar now, but customers who want variety, matching outfits and customer service will still come to the Tailor's shop. It's just for now, they are enjoying the adjustment period. I wouldn't be surprised if higher level items increased in price by 3k across the board and the bazaar eventually returned to having the same assortment of lower level items, just at higher prices.

Just the thought of going through 1400 items and relisting them all at a % markup makes me faint. I'll wait it out and see. My vendors in my shop in the city I live in on Tatooine still get hit hard, but we get a lot of traffic and my shop is right by the shuttleport. My vendors in another city mall have slowed down a bit, and that city gets a lot of traffic too, but it's on Corellia and I do think the bazaar having more choices of higher level clothes and the volume of people shopping on Corelliamain city bazaars are the factors there.

Give it time to adjust. And let customer service be the carrot that gets them to come to your door. The bazaar is so impersonal and doesn't care if he can't find boots in the olive drab that matches those camos. We care.

lol, Akaara, it's been this way since the last publish actually. I'm been doing a ton of buying on the bazar (resources) as usual, and have started dabbling in clothing sales on their too. Here's the affect I notice so far:

This change has been fantastic for resources. I can buy bigger quantities then ever, and the average price I'm paying is unchanged. There is more volatility in prices though, as some people have simply doubled their prices from before, while others just sell much much larger stacks then we've seen before (2k and even 3k stacks of stuff like meat and hide are seen regularly now). Excellent change for resource buyers.

For clothing I haven't really studied it closely yet. But I've been selling a lot of my "excess" (like when I do a custom job and have "leftovers") on the bazar at prices far above what I used to sell them at (and far above what I charge directly to customers). This is just nickle and dime stuff though, so I'll have to keep a closer eye on this.

On my server, resource prices have gone up. Before the change I'd see plenty of 1000 stacks for 3000 credits. After the change I see mostly 1000 stacks for 4-6cpu. Or even smaller stacks for even higher prices. Meat and hideespecially.

And I also see the same person listing 20 auctions that could be combined to 10, but I guess they don't take the time to read the patch notes.

There are a lot of people doing that on Bria also, but I've also seen stacks of 1k meat which were very rare before, and stacks of 2k and even 3k for hide and of course flora. It seems like there's sort of a tug of war and it will be interesting to see who wins.

Maybe many of the players on chilastra have a ton of clothes already so they don't need more. I notice our server is not real role-play oriented, not as much as some other servers. Which might explain why dancers don't buy as many clothes anymore and why the new leotards are not moving well. Seems like our server is about money and power.. no offense to anyone on chil, just an observation.

Well, I think the reason why dancers may not be buying anymore is probably more due to the fact that their whole profession has gotten hiyacked by the holo grinders. I really feel bad for them, and am glad the professions I chose to do haven't been affected in this way. Going to a cantina just aint what it used to be, and I'm not sure it will ever go back to the way it was.
