Thread: Instant Sale prices now 6000 credits
lol, Akaara, it's been this way since the last publish actually. I'm been doing a ton of buying on the bazar (resources) as usual, and have started dabbling in clothing sales on their too. Here's the affect I notice so far:
This change has been fantastic for resources. I can buy bigger quantities then ever, and the average price I'm paying is unchanged. There is more volatility in prices though, as some people have simply doubled their prices from before, while others just sell much much larger stacks then we've seen before (2k and even 3k stacks of stuff like meat and hide are seen regularly now). Excellent change for resource buyers.
For clothing I haven't really studied it closely yet. But I've been selling a lot of my "excess" (like when I do a custom job and have "leftovers") on the bazar at prices far above what I used to sell them at (and far above what I charge directly to customers). This is just nickle and dime stuff though, so I'll have to keep a closer eye on this.

There are a lot of people doing that on Bria also, but I've also seen stacks of 1k meat which were very rare before, and stacks of 2k and even 3k for hide and of course flora. It seems like there's sort of a tug of war and it will be interesting to see who wins.

On my server, resource prices have gone up. Before the change I'd see plenty of 1000 stacks for 3000 credits. After the change I see mostly 1000 stacks for 4-6cpu. Or even smaller stacks for even higher prices. Meat and hideespecially.
And I also see the same person listing 20 auctions that could be combined to 10, but I guess they don't take the time to read the patch notes.
Well, I think the reason why dancers may not be buying anymore is probably more due to the fact that their whole profession has gotten hiyacked by the holo grinders. I really feel bad for them, and am glad the professions I chose to do haven't been affected in this way. Going to a cantina just aint what it used to be, and I'm not sure it will ever go back to the way it was.

Maybe many of the players on chilastra have a ton of clothes already so they don't need more. I notice our server is not real role-play oriented, not as much as some other servers. Which might explain why dancers don't buy as many clothes anymore and why the new leotards are not moving well. Seems like our server is about money and power.. no offense to anyone on chil, just an observation.
