Idea.

For those wonderful customers that enjoy collecting clothing of every shape and color, they quickly run into object count limits in houses. It would sure be nice if there was a clothing only container for houses that could hold many clothes whose count didn't go against the house object count (1 object could hold 50 clothing objects for example, but would only count as 1 object against house count). Something that allowed ordering and setting up of outfits would be awesome too, but just an added feature.

Perhaps a suitcase container that worked the same way for a pack would be good as well (suitcase counts as 1 item, but suitcase can hold 30 pieces of clothing for example).

Right now it is a pain to carry around a few sets of attire... if people had more flexibility for carrying clothing, they might buy more.

Just a thought.

It's a nice idea, but it's not gonna happen. Otherwise crafters would rightly demand a 'storage chest' for all their over flow of components and factory crates that won't fit in their factories. I know I would.^_^

I may be living in a fantasy world but I think they'll eventually fix that vendor exploit. People might find themselves with lots of clothing they don't have room for sometime down the road.

Another idea might be to allow us to create some type of outfit container. Every piece of clothing you want in an outfit, you would put in this container. Then, to wear the clothing, just equip the container. Have it only take up one item spot and don't allow things to be removed from it.

Of course, it could be dressed up a little beyond "outfit container", etc.. This would cut down on item usage and not have an equivalent need in other professions (aside from armorsmith). Also, people might be motivated to purchase whole new outfits rather than just one or two pieces.

Building on an outfit container....

What if there were a way to sell entire outfits that equip all at once. For example: for those people who don't want to mix and match pieces. Perhaps there would be a crafting screen where you could add "items" to different slots, such as a "shirt" slot, "pants" slot and so forth. You wouldn't have to add all items, but once you finish, presto, outfit. This would be particularly convenient when you want to sell a dress and just tack on shoes too. It would allow easier inventory space, quick changes, and tailors to sell pre-made outfits. Of course, I like to mix-n-match, so I'd never use it...

Not only that, but for those entertainer types who want to change clothing quickly and not expose their "naughty bits" when they do it this would probably be a godsend.

I want a way to bundle outfits SOOO badly. Any time the subject even vaguely comes up I bring it up to anyone that will listen

I have an outfits vendor and have a number assigned to each outfit I make... So outfit 1 would be...

Kweestyle* [1] Fashionably Pleated Skirt

Kweestyle* [1] Light Bustier

Kweestyle* [1] Dress Slippers

It's a pain because of course the vendor doesn't display things in the order you enter them and the numbers are annoying to dealwith But it works...

If you name them like that, the vendor should sort them alpha-numerically to all be together, shouldn't it? Assuming everyone is like me and likes to sort by name

For home clothes storage the architect made armoires would be perfect... the new master armoire is beautiful also.
