I have read several tailor guids and have found that most, if not all of them, say that quality of the resouces that you use to make clothing does not matter. Is this true?
I just got master last night and have not had a chance to craft anything other than ribbed shirts and cartridge belts, so any advice would be really nice.

Quite true - the only thing quality matters for is the just-added wookiee armor segment thingies.
