I think it depends on the cost of resources on your server. Since the hides usually go for 50cpu on my server, I think I will make them for 1800 to 2000 credits per padded segment, which means 45K-50K per crate. This is for really good quality components, though.

I'm pretty fortunate in that my primary toon is a Master Ranger. So, while I don't have to buy hides, I would still have to factor in various costs in hunting them down. Depending on where the high-quality stuff is, I will factor in the cost of the trip, buffs and food. For me, the cost of the padded segments to armorsmiths will fluctuate. If insanely good wooly is to be found on Tatooine, I'll sell the segments for less than if I had to go to Endor and hunt.

On Radiant, the really good qual wooly hide has been going for 100cpu ugh!

So, even if I use that woolyforboth types of hide, and 10cpu FP for that...well, that means the straight up cost is2600 per segment as it is!

I'll probably sell them at 100K per crate in that case...

I've never really priced the Wooly hide on Flurry, but I have my Guildies to help me hunt good resources down. I have enough wooly hide currently to make a run or two of the segments, and I'm thinking if the armorsmith uses all my resources, I'll sell them for 40k per crate. If he brings me the hide, probably 10k per. Do you all think that sounds fair?

I wish that hides went for that much on Naritus. Best I've sold was 800+/800+/900+ for 35cpu - seems that our server isn't as inflated as others. The only time that hunting is a pain in the proverbial arse is when the good stuff spawns on small creatures. 2+ hours of hunting durnis for their great wooly can get your eyes to bleeding. But when Dath leathery is good, then smacking rancors around for a couple of hours can lead to a nice sized stack. That's when I can sell most of it for the Ranger income and keep some to use in segments for the Tailor income.

/wave Hi Naia! I think I will try it out, but I am also not planning to make schematics. I like to make things!

I refused to get involved with this ridiculousness. I don't want any part of what quality anything is. HRMPH.

I'm not planning on making crates, I'd rather use my precious wooly hide in making Bikinis and Revealing Tops! I've made a few single segments and have them in my vendor at 500 creds each, more to see if they sell than anything else.

I made a schematic for one that is Base 4%, 231 integrity, and HAM 5/7/6

I have no idea what quality it is though, so I'll probably have to test it out on the armoursmith's forum
