Thread: The Wook Armour uses synth cloth, right?

So, I see from several different places that the new wookie armour uses synthetic cloth in the schematic...

Here's a silly question...can this cloth be BE'd, and then the armour would gain some useful bonuses that are lost in wearing the armour instead of clothes?

Also, since the poor wooks finally got armour, but now can't wear clothes...can they get a different clothing item that can fit UNDER their armour, just like all the other races have? I think that's only fair if they can wear a +25 Medical shirt, or a +melee/stun defense shirt under the armour...perhaps a new 'Kashyyk ceremonial undershirt' (prevents chafing from the wicker!)

BE cloth doesn't work in armor. That would be really overpowered if you think about it.

Yes, I guess that would make sense...I was just hoping that the poor wooks might be able to retain some bonuses in their armour, since it's now an armour or BE'd cloth choice. Either or.

Any of us can test this. And it might be worth doing from a beta-testing, bug-finding point of view with the new armor, but we've been given quite a lot of clarity on this issue from the devs in the past as synthetic cloth & rfp have been a part of armor for a very long time. And they've said loud and clear: NO BE TISSUES IN ARMOR. Furthermore, as tailors, the last thing in the world we want to see is armor with bio tissues in them. People complain all the time (much to my chagrin) how useless clothing is even with us having exclusivity on bio tissues. Having them work in armor would be a terrible thing for tailors.

If one were to discover that it did in fact work, you should /bug it.

That is exactly what I explained to an armorsmith yesterday. If they could put BE tissues into armor we would probably never sell a piece of BE clothing again....
