Thread: A great idea for Tailors.

What about guilds having their own logos on their armor/clothes or even on capes so you can wear it and show what guild you belong too. (I got the idea from dark age of camelot)
e.g (Guild farside) has a red cross on a white back groud or (Guild nearside) has a green dragon on a white backgroud etc showing on thier capes. It would look so cool
Its not a bad idea, but it won't ever be approved. Not only would it put a much bigger load on the servers, but some people would design obscene logos.
What about a range of symbols/icons which aren't customisable, they're just added to a few at a time with each patch. Sure it would add a little bit more load but it would certainly add to guilds and associations wanting to distinguish themselves from others. Could even make the symbols some sort of loot/quest item (Though please not limited use!). Guilds could then get hold of one they wanted and give it to a tailor to use for them, good for repeat business. Could even make these fairly rare, it's not like everyone would want them, more the guilds which can afford it.
Probably be tough for the devs to implement but a few uniform like items added in the future could probably have this added, could even make the "logo"'s a component, though using a very small amount of resources, and make some specialist items have an optional logo slot duing crafting.
More I think about it more I like it. Overt rebels could get some sort of rank insignia to show off same for imperials. Gives a tailor a reason to side with one or the other, buying insignia from recruiters or just their schematics. Possibly even forcing a faction requirement during crafting meaning you'd need to be a imperial/rebel (covert or overt) in order to make them. Allows us to at least participate in the GCW to a small degree.
Guilds would be for it, upstanding overt faction players would be for it, the more people who would be for this idea the better chance the devs will consider it.
