yes.
limited use schematics need these components.
Off the top of my head, the weaponsmiths toolkit needs 2 identical clasps, and the demolitionists belt needs one.
Each schematic has 3 uses, so 10 identical clasps will give you 4 toolkits for one use on the schematic - and they sell for upwards of 200k (on my server at any rate)
The crafters aprons take the heavy duty leather

The droidsmith one takes 2 clasps. All the crafter apron schematics take 2 leathers but the pack ones only take 1.
