Ok, I know this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find any good source of info for this.
What do people charge for making Bio-e clothing? Is there a common price guide, or do you just charge whatever you fell like at the time? And do you charge more based on the number of sockets in it?

The best answer is:
a) figure out what it costs you to aquire the tissues
b) do the legwork to get some understanding of what your fellow tailors charge on your server
c) price according to your conscience and your ability to meet demand.
for my shop, the answer is, 10k - 30k depending on the item of clothing and the bonuses, but my costs are very very low because I do my own tissues, harvest my own flora, and mostly hunt for the meat/bone/hide that I require. So that's almost pure profit.

i have a great supplier who gets me crates of top quality stuff for 30k each. I then charge 3k per tissue, added onto the price of the clothing. I mainly do them as custom orders tho, with only a few mask scent/camo/taming jackets and entertainer items stocked on the vendor.

Heres my price list.
10k for RFP shirts - 1 tissue
15k for RFP bandoliers - 1 tissue
25k for Syn hats - 3 tissues
45k for Syn shirts - 6 tissues
Of course, I do 4 socket schematics. They sell rather well.

I and many others just charge 1k per enhancemnet level. It is something non-tailors can understand.
so a +17 bleed defence shirt would be 17000c
If it is duel skill I only charge the highest enhancement wo a +4 melee/+16 stun defense shirt would only be 16000c
Although if they waste a lot of tissues I charge multiple times so a +25 injury wound treatment shirt would be around 80k since it waste several tissues to make it.
It is a little pricey but they still sell well and this price allows me to not have to restock every few days. For those of us who are not also a BE (cough-arthurdent-cough)it helps us make a little better profit.

I charge 2k per enhancement in eachtissue. So if there is a shirt that took1 tissue (having +15) it would cost 30k.
If the shirt took 2 tissues 60k and so on. I used to charge 1k per enhancement but my bioengineer asked to double it to see if it would sell, and it does! He doesn't charge for the tissues we just split the profit. It works out well.

I simply do the 1k/enhancement point. So if it's a 4/15 tissue, it's 19k, and so on. ^.^

Thanks for all the ideas. Seems to be the +1k per plus on my server, so I'll be doing that.

Personally, I just take the price I paid for the tissue, add a markup for my time and effort in getting said tissues (I find 50% works well, but it can be as high as 200% for some harder to get a hold of tissues), and then add the normal item cost.
So if I paid 10k say for a tissue, that i'm going to use in a FormFitting Undershirt (600 credit MSRP), I come up with a final price of 15600 credits.
Just my two centicredits.

I've been doing 20k for one tissue stuff, 30k for 2 tissues, and 40-80k for things with 4 or more ....
I don't do schematics as I think they're boring and I'd rather not see everyone running around seeing the same old junk ....
they're not all 4 socketed stuff but there isn't one thing I don't sell alot of ... my customers appreciate the variation and it doesn't hurt that I have a high traffic doc shop as well
