I've heard it helps for making armor padding for armorsmiths, but I do not know. Never have made that stuff.

yup - wookie armour padding.
get the best resources you can (unusual for a tailor !!) and experiment the resists up as far as possible, and then the encumbrance down as far as possible, and you'll make agood amount of cash selling them by the boatload to a wookie friendly Armoursmith.

I have +27 experimentation and +28 assembly right now.
Let me tell you. I make a mean pillow.
The current flavour of pillow I make is 4% resist, 306 condition, 4/5/4 HAM cost. Go make a sample of the wookie padding and see what stats you can get on them and let me know. I would bet anything that you can't get even close without alot of extra experiment points, and alot of OHELD hides.

My best has been 4% Base, 186 condition, with no change on ham and to be honest the AS i have spoken to couldn't care less about anything but the base %

It's all about how far you can experiment that lowest bar. For the base. Even decimals count....
I made a 94% yesterday
still is 4%.
Isn't 5% base100% experimentation?
