I'm not on Valcyn so I'm not sure if you want to hear from me, but here are your basic Tailor BE enhancements:
Synth Cloth Enhancements (non-combat enhancements):
Medical - wound/injury healing
Entertainer - music/dance wound healing
Taming - wild/vicious taming
Reinforced Fiberplast Panels (mostly combat enhancements):
General combat defenses - stun/melee defense
- bleed defense
Brawler - war cry/intimidate enhancement
Camo - visual camoflage/mask scent enhancement
Rifleman - cover enhancement
The actual amount of each enhancement varies depending on the skill of the BE and the quality of the resources used to craft the original tissues. The tailor has no effect on the resulting bonuses. On the low end, a single buff may be +2 to +5, and on the high end the buff can be around +14 to +17. I've seen as high as +18 on a single enhancement, and it may be possible to get it as high as +20 with exceptional ingredients. Dual enhancements (like wound/injury healing) don't have to have both bonuses being the same value, though this again varies with the BE and ingredients, but they are usually close, and most good BE's will get both to the same value. The only exception is melee defense which is typically about 1/3 or 1/4 of it's associated stun defense value: i.e. you might see +3 melee/+13 stun, or +4 melee/+16 stun, and the highest I've seen is +5 melee/+17 stun defense. There's a lot more info on BE tailoring and exactly what clothes you can put BE in at the FAQ link at the top of the forum, so you may wanna check there. Good luck.

Hypothetically speaking, how much would a BE Reinforced Jumpsuit cost, with a Stun (or, if it can be done, Stun AND Melee) defence on there? I've not got that far with my Tailor character yet, so I don't know what compontants it needs.

First off, stun defense and melee defense always come together as a BE enhancement. (In my previous post, all enhancements that are combined with a slash mean that they come as a pair so stun and melee, injury healing and wound healing, etc.). I can't say for sure how much a BE enhanced jumpsuit would cost on your server, because it depends on your server's economy, the price of the BE enhancements, and the typical cost of tailor products; however, it uses several identical RFP's so I would imagine a good quality one would be 10-20k or more.
