1.) do tailors get a bonus to clothing repair?
2.) i looted a +25 clothing repair clothing attachment, does this mod even work?

I'd love to have that tape and test it out. Bring it over to chilastra will ya?

we are testing the assembly and experimentation now. The repair skill is quite a mystery, and probably not working. The devs won't tell us how it's supposed to work for us to test, but as you advance in skill, there DOES seem to be a corresponding advancement in repair skill. Unfortunately it is a small advance, and even at master, your chance to fail is very very high.
As we get some tailors with the FS repair skill (hopefully in the 3rd phase of the village) there will be a chance to test it more. Keep that tape for now. It could be very handy, especially when decay works properly.

i'd love to lol. but i cant
i was angry when i looted it, but now i think that it might be sorta useful. i forgot to take my docs pants off her and she died and her 25 med exp pants took a nice 50 condition loss. tho, 950/1000 isnt bad and i think im learned my lesson.

In the link directory, there are a few tests Gyopi did with 2 characters of differing tailoring skill. Apparently your tailoring level does affect repair. I'm not sure, however, what effect skill tapes have on this....
