Thread: Consumer Question bonus limits?

Hi, I am pretty new to SWG in general and very new to buying clothing with bonuses so this may seem like a trivial question to some of you 
. As I am looking at vendors offering enhanced clothing, I have NO clue what IS possible (thus I should be looking for). For example, I found a Field Agent Pack with +3 Melee Defense and +3 Ranged Defense (two others I don't care about). As a consumer this is fine except I don't know how much of a bonus is possible. If I bought this and then found a +10 at another shop I wouldbe VERY upset. Can someone give me any guides to what is possible (and thus I should hold out for) or point to a faq with this info? I would very much appreciate the help.

The backpacks you have seen are special loot schematic backpack. Those stats are on all of them no matter who makes it. As for stats total, the FAQ will answer that.
