Please Only Post Well Thought Out Ideas
Firt let me start by saying that i've played a number of online games. AC AC2 EQ SWG COH, the list goes on. I've been playing SWG since it came out, though I did take a short break. I've been a BE/Tailor practically from the begining.
Okay so here are my thoughts.
Clothing is always going to be limited in a game. You can't have millions of different clothing BUT what if you gave Master Tailors the ability to embrioder their clothing. Like put symbols and things on their clothing, Imperial Symbols, rebel symbols, flames, stars... it would widen the range of self expression and create a bit of difference between people. In COH for character creation you could choose from so many things to put on your chest to the design on your pants and shirt sleeves. I loved some of the shirts that were put in for Ithorians with the 11 patch but it's a shame they are the only ones who can wear them. I'm not bitching or crying, I'm just making a suggestion that might help tailors a bit. Not that there aren't a million things to fix and tweek, and I know Tailors are still low priority especially now that they've been given something else. But this at least would give you the chance to add something to the game that would make even old clothes new.
Obviously another suggestion would be to make clothing decay actually decay the clothing. I'm sure people have mentioned that before. But once people buy what they want they dont need to come back to us again unless they simply want a different color.
Also I think Master Tailors or any Master Crafter should be allowed to register at least one vendor on the planetary map. We may have shops people can't find because of this. Being a master BE and a master tailor doesnt leave many points left for going up the merchant tree to be able to do this. Just asking for ONE!
And as for using experimentation for Tailors, when we put clothing together the sockets we get seems so random, maybe if we were able to experiment we wouldnt have to make 20 items to meet 1 persons need for 1 four socketed item. Not that it actually takes me that many tries, just seems a bit to random.
Also why aren't there Crafting Aprons for Bio Engineers? And I'm not sure but I havent found one for an Armor Smith either?
Well these are my thoughts, and though I am sure there are many suggestion threads out there I'd like this one to be for well thought through suggestions that actually might make a real difference.

Well I dont know why in the world my thread poped up three times and why some of it's huge and some isnt lol but uh I cant find an edit or delete button to fix it
