Thread: Aaargh! No hooded robes do not come in hot pink!

Oh boy.
Well we got some new schematics, including everything you could want for an Ithorian and then some. We also got the 'no stretch marks on my hips and I'll prove it' revealing skirt and the long asked for hooded robe!
A few observations.
1. It says 'cloak' in the damn schematic list, this doesn't make it obvious.
2. I went to Coronet with my tailor tag on. BIG MISTAKE. I ended running around with an AFK message on directing people to my shop. Of course then when I get to my shop, I have a queue of people camping it/
3. Fully 50% of these people want a cloak in hot pink. I have a feeling that disco jedi are going to be the Next Big Thing.
4. After wearing my fingers down to the knuckle I did what I swore I never would and stuck a batch of cloaks in the factory. I'll never get to tailor heaven now
5. Winged Hawtpants? I almost wet myself laughing
I think I may be running around with my merchant tag on for a while. There's such a thing as being too popular as I have discovered. Anyone else got any first night tales for our new schematics?

Wow, I think I'll log Rayze in tonight just to see how many /tells and mails I have waiting for me...
Sounds like you had quite the adventure, it must have al least felt a little good to be in such high demand for your attentions

I actually only had one request for new clothes today. (and it came from my most annoying guildmate 
) And I always keep my master tailor tag up. (Might have something to do with the fact that I live on Lok lol)

Oh geez. Glad I'm not in your server, I would kill everyone who wants a symbol of being hermit/vagrant/dervish/wisedom in hotpink... Really, I wonder if any of those things sell if it does not show breasts naked.

About 8 hours straight.... barely able to leave the mall area. I put 300 hooded cloaks through the factory. They were selling on my vendor about 1 per minute during rush hour.
Extremely Revealing Skirts - yummy. Was hand-crafting those most of thenight too. Also made a bunch of Ithorian Vendor wear. Naughty guys decided to go streaking!

it got so bad for me...i was repsonding to random tells.....yes i have the hooded cloaks on my vendor at such and such waypoint..oh you want the skirt...no problem what colours lol omg this was insane lol
oh well....should die down soon i think but maybe not who knows
but maybe not who knowsonly sold one pair of winged hawtpants...for 50K lol silly bugger wanted them bad i suppose oh well it's all good
oh well it's all gooddarn i really wish we had more new clothes lol......stupid ithorians.....i want mystic pants darn it!

I'm so bad. After testing all this for weeks, and getting utterly sick of it, I've got my afk flag up and am leisurely making the occasional item for a guildie, or playing my mandoviol.

Know what you mean, N'Jessi. I wasn't prepared for the schematics hitting the live servers so soon, and have been loaning my factories to an armorsmith friend. Last night, I made a few cloaks for the vendor, a couple of skirt outfits for dancer friends and switched to my entertainer alt
I'll have the factories cooking on synth cloth over the weekend and get some Ithorian wearables ready for next week.

OMG! I was sewing my fingers to the bone from the time I logged in until I finally just had to stop answering /tells or telling people no around 1:30-2:00.
Plus, since I was working out of my shop, my vendors got pretty well decimated also...it makes me almsot not even want to log in again. :-)
Just glad I made my own slave skirt the second I logged in or I still woudn't have one. /wink

HAHA no kidding I did that as well. it was a funny thing happened to me on the way to the starport. I was assualted from all sides by people ranging from jedi to brawler for the hooded cloaks, and then the entertainers got in on the act and wantedTHE skirt.
I've had alot of people ask me for a blue cloak..not many asking for hot pink yet but it might happen <shrug>.
The two females who aksed for the skirt that i remeber were great...one wanted a black with silver trim to match her top metal bikini. The other wanted light blue with a silver trim. She also had a light blue top of some type because she had a light silver cloak on I just made her lol. With that she was wearing light blue composite armor boots. I'll let you guess what color her hair was.

Yep there's my first day story. After I took a break from that for dinner, I ended up having lots of dancers come to my shop asking for skirts, always with the metal bikini, no one wanted to wear it with the revealing bikini, which I think looks better. So I cooked up some of those skirts. It was pretty crazy.
