Let me get it out of the way before I start that I am a twilek female. There, now you know the extent of my misery. ;p
I've been browsing TK's fashion website, and honestly there are things I'm running across that actually make my heart beat, and are just really stunning. Then I notice that they're either ithorian or wookie only, and I begin to stroke out. Don't get me wrong, I have alot being offered to me... outside of the headgear and gloves department anyway. I looked stunned at the ithorian religious cap, wondering why its not possible for a tailor to add 500cr worth of fabric to extend the chin strap, and maybe modify the design just a miniscule, tiny amount (eg. cut off 3cr worth of fabric along the bottom rim, not create 2 holes
) so my lekku could flow out in front of me. The color choices are so wonderful, and the variance caused by mixing the colors caused my imagination to flare even further. Reluctantly moving on, I decided to check out my glove options, because my previous trips to my tailor resulted in a limited amount of them on display. There, like a brick out of the darkness, I was accosted by the beauty of the patterned wookie gloves.
Seeing those gloves immediately brought the religious cap back to mind, as well as the rugged jacket. "God, that would look SO [vulgarity] AWSOME AE ES DE EF." was all that escaped my mouth before I immediately rushed to click "new thread". :B
I realize that these clothing options provide uniqueness to species that - as it stands - don't have very much, (ithorians can't even wear boots.. wookies? Heres a sliver of fabric. Go wild. HAW HAW.) but I would really like to see a design retrofit system put in place so that I have to spend an exorbitant amount of money to purchase 1000 condition clothing that will be gone after 5 failed jedi missions, and offer me no protection. It seems very stupid, but this is something even I (who is male, no less) would go nuts over. Of course such a system wouldn't work one way, obviously ithorians could get expanded versions of many humanoid fashions, and wookies could possibly get more fashions, since its cannonically incorrect that they wear business suits and diamond earrings.
What do you all think, and how would you suggest implementing a price = reward system, if at all? Quests that offered the versions as no/high limit schematics? An unrealistic amount of additional resources?
Also I would have it that they implement by making the meshes warp to the proper dimensions. Implementing a system like this would also help in the case of me purchasing a belt, and yet having it look like I have a giant tire around my hips.
PS: and yes, I know BE clothing comes first. I love you all, I will wait forever so long as you back me! :<

Can't edit yet.. I meant the desert command jacket, not rugged jacket. My imagination imediately kicked up a final fantasyish (tactics/tactics advanced art) outfit basicly.
