Thread: Clothing Color Palettes Have Changed..

I'm not a Tailor, so I can't be totally sure but I am not happy about this. I've asked more than one Tailor to try making clothes of certain colors and they tell me the palettes have changed on certain items - light bustier and sturdy boots for sure. It's not like they're different, they just removed colors from the palette.
I know broken Bio clothes are getting all your attention right now, but colors are much more important to me. They need to be adding More colors, not less.
Have any of you noticed this?

No our pallettes have not had colors removed.

The way the pallette is veiwed has changed slighlty.

We cannot adjust nor move the sizing and location of colors anymore, we must scroll to see top or bottom lines of it,

but the actual colors..They have not changed one bit.

They have changed i have no doubt about that.

Yesterday i made some of our guild suits and i had no way of making it the excact same color as before.

The problem was with modest skirts and decorated vests. Before they were blod red now i can only make them dark red.

Ive tried making every other red possible in the palette and none was the same red as before

I'm very sure that they've changed as well. I'm pretty sure I know who created this post, and I was the tailor that was trying to make her a light bustier. I used to be able to choose the color of the trim on the light bustier, no...no longer. I used to be able to make the boots she was referring to in white, now...no longer. It's very possible that maybe it's on my end, but my graphics drivers are up to date (as of two days ago), and I do full scans often.

If any tailors would like to create a light bustier and be able to choose a trim color, go for it. I'd love to find out it's my problem and not the games, because it's fixable then. And I do know that I used to be able to choose trim colors on bustiers, because I have an old one that is royal blue with black trim. Now when I see the top palette, it's blank with a horizontal gold line through the center.
The boots she was referring to, she had a pair (I didn't make them), in white. When I went to make some for her, I discovered that there is absolutely nothing that resembles white for the top part of the boots for me to choose from. (I'm a master tailor, by the way, so I have {or should}, the full palettes to choose from).

Thanks for any help or info I can on missing colors, if anyone else would like to try and post their results.

Erm I've been a tailor for pretty much 2 years and have never been able to choose the trim on a Light Bustier.

QFE

2yrs now and the trim has ALWAYS been white, with no other color option

and the colors have not changed, you must scroll to see the last or first line of the pallette, but they have not changed the colors.

I've never been able to choose the trim colour on light bustiers either, or the underskirt colour on the lux gown, or the secondary colours on some of the bandoliers. They've all been bugged since I became a tailor.

On some of the boots I do have to scroll the palette with my mouse wheel to get to the top or bottom line. With some boots that top line is where the white is so that could be why you believe it is missing.

As for shade changes, I honestly haven't noticed any changes myself, sorry.

For the almost 2 year I've been playing I've also been unable to select a color for the trim on the light bustier, and my colors have not changed at all either. Other than having to scroll to find the colors. I did not know how to do that at first until I posted here to find out how to reach those colors. All I have to do to reach those colors is to select a color on the pallette and then use the scroll wheel and it will raise/lower the pallette.

Pardon me, but:

Not that long ago(actually, I think it was a CU change, but can't be sure) the Image Designer pallette's were modified in a similar fashion to what the Tailor's have now, where you have to scroll down to see the pallette.

We condsidered it a bug, and it was fixed in a recent change (Pub. 18, or a hotfix before that I think...)

Might you also be counting this as a bug, in the profession? I don't know about you, but it's really difficult for me to choose the right color when I can't see all my options at once...

As for Light Bustier pallette, I'm nota tailor on Shareena, but Charina was a tailor for several months, mastered, and never once had any color selection for the Light Bustier trim, among other items. BUT! I have seen a Looted Light Bustier once which I could SWEAR had black trim, not white, but... meh, I could be wrong.

I consider it a bug and sent it on with the last tailor bug list I did yesterday.

In fact.. hasn't this white-only on the Light Bustier been on one of our Tailor Issues lists since the beginning of time?

I think I must have taken too long of a break in playing, because I have a vivid recollection of choosing trim colors on the light bustier. But, that's not to say that I'm not hallucinating, I've been known to do that . So to go even farther, I pulled out my old light bustier that was royal blue and black trim...the trim was white.

So ok, I'm insane, I can deal with that. On to the sturdy boots that I still couldn't find the white on in my palette. I go into the game today, made very sure that I was scrolling through the colors and I still didn't see white. I uninstalled my game and reinstalled, downloaded all patches, and then went and did a full scan to be sure. I also scan disked my HD and defragged. I go into game--I have white on my palette now. So, the issue was somewhere with me not the game, which is good!

Thanks everyone!
