I still want to know why soe made the bits for these so darn rare?

I finally bought a metal recycler - but I cannot get the parts for the othersat a decent price on my server.

This is so silly by soe - though normal for them -

It makes no sense - the resultant resources are not good except for grinding, tailor, or architect (and maybe some bits in other professions, I have always been a tailor so don't know). So why make the parts so rare that we have to spend our entire savings?

/rant off

on the other hand, it was so cool to dump my different piles of metals in and get one big pile - while carefully reserving my "special" metals. Soooo need a creature recycler to do that with hides too.

They aren't rare, you just have to rally up support crews to help you get them.
being persistant (and annoying like me) may surprise you for what you can do with little money.
But you have to stick to it and keepa foot ready to swifty apply itself to others heinies as well.

In just over two weeks I got all five made and several others are well on the way to completeing theirs thanks to the support ring.
{ I had started the thread looking for blades myself, other posted they would like some too so I turn the thread into a contact information list, it is working great}

Find crafters collectors looking to do the same as you,
work together as a communityinstead of competing and bidding against each other (which only raises prices)

Yeah, the parts aren't that hard to get (at least pre-CURB). I'm a Master Tailor/Carbineer 4303 and with buffs I could pick up everything in the list. They're not NPCs most combat folk kill, so you don't see the items that often on the Bazaar. If you concentrate on them you'll find what you need.

Ask all your friends to spend an hour or two killing the guys that drop Spinner Discs and Blue Wire. Should solve most of your problems.
