I just mastered tailor, and i'm looking for vendor name ideas.I'm able to place 3 vendors atm. What did everyone name theirs?

My Gals, asI call them, are the females of each playable species,
all barefoot too since Dosh, Wooks, and Iths can't wear shoes none of us do.

It really depends on what kind of shop and selection you have

Multiple vendors are not truely needed

Several people like the RP value of actual names
other want BE clothes, socketing, and fast sellers all seperated.

I think deciding what kind of storefront {if any} you want is a better start

Though I do always recommend haveing at least 1 vendor with your actual business name {or your name} on it.

P.S. I love my shop..I have spent so long tweeking it , starting over, new ideas, vendors there, displays here..

that when I 'hit' upon how it looks now..it was truely a releif..it matches my business and persona so perfectly.

I really do not see me changing anything other then the Gals outfits and style displays..

Like Ani' said, I think it's best to include the shop name in atleast one vendor name. I kinda went overkill but...ummm...well, atleast they'll know where they're shopping.

back when i first got the the merchant skill to place a tent my husband came up with a great name - kind of as a joke - as a play on words with my characters name. My shop was named "Sak's Fifth Ave" (since Sakura's good friends usually call her Sak) and the name has stuck for over a year.

As for the vendors, i label them what they sell. "Sakura's Fine Clothier" , "Loot and Resources", "Bio-Engineered Clothing" , and "Special Orders". All of my vendors have always been and will always be female Twi'leks - i think you can make the most "complete" looking outfits with the nice selection of headwear accessories Twi's have.

oh... and congrats on mastering Tailor!!!! Welcome to the family!

Congrats on making Master!

I currently have two vendors:

Alcen's Clothing Creations
Alcen's Tailor Crates

The clothing vendor is a female Twi'lek; the crates vendor is a mission terminal. They're both on the map and in the global search. My vendors are in my PA's guild hall, so I don't have much in the way of decoration.

I just have 2 clothing vendors:

Teero's Fine Fashions

and

Bio-Engineered Clothing by Teero

The Teero's Fine Fashions vendor is for non BE clothing, and the other one is for BE clothing.

and i have a few non-tailor vendors too:

Teero's Fine Art - Looted paintings, sculptures, and crafted items such as Tanned Hides and Tatooine Tapestries (i was smart and made 1k factory runs of 2 tanned hides and of the Tapestry on the day the schemes went live, back before they nerfed them, so i still have several crates of them sitting around. i also employ an architect to make me factory runs of the Bestine Museum paintings to sell there.

Weaponry by Teero - Teero is a Master Artisan/Weaponsmith/Tailor so this is my weapons vendor

Cheap Resources by Teero - this is my 2cpu resource vendor

Bandit Bargains - This is my misc loot and other items vendor.

and all of these vendors are various types of NPC vendors all dressed in assorted outfits that sort of fit their role. like the weapons vendor is a female twilek with a DXR6 rifle, ammo bandolier, cammo pants, ect. and of couse the 2 clothing vendors are Ithorian since they have the best cltohing around.

hrm, I don't remember exact naming, but I have these vendors:

Pappi Inc Tailoring (that's where everything is)
Pappi Inc Accessories
species specific (Twi headgear, wookiee and ithorian wear)
BE tissued clothing
four sockets (mostly combat-ish or tissued stuff, both reg and BE, all 4 sockets. barks)
Odi's chef tissue (vendor for the fiance, he provides my BE tissues

)
tailoring resources (I put up my extra tailoring components and loot pieces on there, it does sell

)
custom orders
a vendor with the "I support ATK playstyle" necklaces/bracelets/ithorian bracelets
this week's specials (stuff I want to catch people's attention since it's a barker... doesn't mean it's cheaper

)
model, soon to be tip jar

then I have a storage vendor in another tent

And Sweetie. The naked male Twi storage vendor hidden in thecloset of my house, not my shop.

I used to have vendors separated by item types, (Q Jewelry, Q Robes Jackets Cloaks Vests, Q Accessories Q Luxury, Serenity Valley Mall Bazaar [misc loots and crafted items]). But several customers told me that now with the new vendor search features it's just a hassle to vendor hop even vendors in the same mall/shopand that they'd rather search for items by name all on just one vendor. A la bazaar.

So I fired all the redundant vendors and put almost all of it on one main vendor. The Wooks and Iths do appreciate having their own though. Saves time and frustration. And the Cool in Black vendor is the hot one. Most sales per day. No surprise there.

But sales on the main Q vendor increased also. I guess people who didn't bother to even look on Accessories or Jewelry, do now it's all on one vendor. *shrug*

Oh. And I don't do BE clothes at all. *mails Alcen's WP to BE clients*

Well, I just entered a partnership with another Tailor/Architect, so I just reorganized. In our shop (MiraMo, Inc.), I have:

MiraMo Outfits

MiraMo Bio-Engineered Clothing

My partner (Mo') has:

All of these are female Twi'leks. The plan is to dress them in Grand Ball Gowns that match their skin color.

I also have a clearance vendor nearby where I'm selling off all of my old stock that has the old company name on it, and a decorative "High Priestess" vendor in my Purple Temple.

Welcome to the world of Master Tailoring! Yay! And congratulations......

I'm very proud of my business, so I'm going to share a little more than my vendor names. Tee hee! I love to share.

My shop is named:

Master Tailor Shop

Flaunt your fashion! Coronet: 356 -3644

I'm behind on the decor in my shop (I spend most of my time crafting), but I plan on upgrading the decor and displaying some outfits to help out those customers who ask me for ideas.

I am also a Master Merchant, so I can offer TONS of items! I currently offer about 3700 tailored items (and plan on having almost 4000 when my stock is complete). When my stock is finished, I'll have between one and several dozen of every tailored item available, depending on popularity. And, woo hoo!, business is booming....

Anyway, I have all of my vendors in a Small Corellian House, all lined on one wall. I put a picture over the door to my back room with my clothing station on the other side to create the appearance of a wall without a door. Then I put vendors in front of it so they all fit along the same wall. From left to right (left being the furthest from the room's entryway), they are named the following:

(I paraphrased what some vendors bark 'cause I cannot remember exactly at the moment.)

Irela's Loot and Misc (Male, Zabrak,not a barker)

Irela's Wook and Ithorian Clothing (Female, Wookie, barks: Revel in your uniqueness! I carry clothing and accessories designed just for you.)

Irela's Packs and Containers (Male, the race with the octopus-like head, not a barker)

Crates (female, Zabrak, dressed like Princess Leia, not a barker)

Irela's Tailored Accessories (Female, Zabrak, dressed in Exotic Leotard and cool accessories, barks: Accessorize your outfit! I carry belts, bandos, footwear, headwear, handwear, etc. to complement any outfit!)

Irela's Jewelry (Female, Zabrak, dressed in pink/white patterened slip dress, long uni gloves, dress slippers, and a chef's hat that matches the dress color--looks very russian!, barks: I carry necklaces, bracelets, and rings for every occasion, including rings for unity, love, fun, or friendship)

Irela's Ladies' Only Clothing (Female, Human, dressed in a lemon-colored Grand Ball Gown with accessories, barks: I carry clothing that is gender-specific to female in a variety of lovely colors and styles)

Irela's Back-in-Black Clothing (Male, big lizard guy, dressed in a black Grand Mayoral Robe, barks: Get Back-in-Black! I carry totally black clothing that can be worn by either gender!)

Irela's Tops in Colors (Female, Twi'lek, dressed in a dark green shirt/skirt combo, barks: I carry shirts, jackets, vests, etc. in a variety of fabulous colors that can be worn by either gender)

Irela's Bottoms and Misc Clothing in Colors (Male, Human, dressed in scout/combat type outfit, barks: I carry non-gender-specific pants, skirts, bodysuits, robes, dresses, etc. in a wide range of colors to complement any style)

LOL. Like I said earlier, what they bark is paraphrased and has catchier and better-thought-out messages in my shop. Mainly, they bark their contents with a catchy phrase.

Also, I advertise my shop by naming my factories (and sometimes harvesters) with my shop name and location. For example, Master Tailor Shop: Coronet 356 -3644 (????m from here).
