Thread: New wookie clothing post CU??

I am sorry but the wookie clothing selection is weak. I am a jedi and dont feel like wearing the padawan robes so im intrested to know about any new wookie clothes. Also ive never tried this but can wookiees wear aukuan robes??(i do doubt it though but that would be enought over a wookie smock)

the last time any new clothing was introduced was when Jump to Lightspeed went live.
my guess, and this is a GUESS, is that there will be lots of new wookiee wear available when the new expansion comes out, but we will have to wait and see.
as far as Aakuan clothing goes, wooks can't wear the robe or shirt. im not sure if wooks can wear belts, but if so, the Aakuan belt is the only thing from them you could wear.
also, there is some good looking wookiee stuff if you find a tailor that has done alot of work with wookiee garb. it just takes alot of creativity to take the limited amount of items, and limited color choices and actually make a good looking outfit. and stay away from the smock, it looks like you're wearing a MuMu.

From the CU part.... no new clothing of any kind. From the RotW add-on, the alpha team cannot discuss that until the devs open it up to the public... that NDA and all.

on a personal note, i certainly HOPE that they add new clothing in the new expansion.
and not just for wooks either. maybe more race specific stuff:
Rodian hunter wear (since there is talk of the rodian safari camps, maybe some near headwear for us rodians)
Trandoshan Slaver wear. I recently got Star Wars Republic Commando. you fight trandosh slavers who are enslaving the wookiees. these slavers had some really sweet looking clothing, armor, and accessories on, and i think it would be neat to add some trandosh items. (NOTE: some of the slavers were wearing gloves, but none had shoes on)

If we can get new wookiee clothes, I would be a happy tailor. Opening up the palletes on them, too, would be nice. The leather pallete is so hard to get good matches for or consistency in color anyway.

I hope they do open clothes up a bit as well many of t he alien races selections are pretty poor with the exception of Ithorians. The poor wookiee's are limited of color and style and spec Rodians who have almost no headwear. It is safe to say unless you want to play a human you have almost no clothing selection at all. I was searching through my book that came with my Special Edition version of the game and saw some very cool designs for not only character customization but clothing that I wish they would put in game.

to be fair, we rodians do have it pretty good. the only things we can't wear are Wook clothing, Ithorian clothing, that hooded woman's dress, imperial officer's hat, and a few helmets such as stormie helms and RIS helms.

Don't have much hope for us getting anything as far as clothing for ROTW either. As far as they say no new wookiee only items are planned. But I will dream anyway!

Human?? I've always thought Twi'leks have the best options for wearing a truly complete and attractive outfit thanks to their assorted and attractive headwear that come in full palettes. All of my vendors are Twi'lek females

All I know is that tehres only a few items that can be BE'd for a wook and it reeeallly irritates me, because quite frankly those items i don't want to wear them. New clothes would be nice, but when it all comes down to it we wooks only really want two things... to be equal to other races. Give us a full pallet to choose from... and let us get just as much of our clothing be'd as any other race. Just my two cents. a really frustrated wook here. >.<

i wouldnt mind new pallets and maybe like pants and grand robes all species can have clothing made for themselves ill take mayoral robes in dark green/black or maybe some robes like hooded not much... oh and make white really look like white not fuzzy grey

As far as I understood the official statement, no new "wookiee-only CONTENT" was being added--i.e. quests for only wookiees, parts of the planet only wookiees could visit, etc. They've already added new wook-only items in the two new higher level bowcasters. I'm gonna keep pretending that content is the real thing, and a few items, clothing and the like, may get tossed our way.
