I did some browsing through the stickies and some forums searches, but was unable to find the answer i was looking for and figured i would postmy question to hopefully help me learn a bit more.
I do apologize if i overlooked a post explaining this. Plz point me in that direction
I recently learned about the new enhancements available from a friend and would like to learn more.
My questionsare simply about the types of clothing that can be enhanced. From my limited knowledge i know the following can be enhanced:
- Shirts
- Pants
- Jackets
- Hats
- Bandoliers
Question 1: Can boots, gloves, or belts be enhanced?
Question 2: Are there restrictions on the types of enhancements for each clothing type? For example i have been told that the sunguard can only contain healing enhancements.....if this is true....
Question 3:What clothing types are able to have the following enhancments added:
- melee/ranged defense
- terrain negotiation
I appreciate the time that those take to read this and hopefully give me a little more insight. ![]()

on the above site you can find all the clothes which can be enhanced with either synthetic cloth with mods or reinforced fiber panel with mods.
to answer your questions:
1) no
2) the sunguard only takes synthetic cloth.. so can be enhanced with the cure efficiency/augmentation efficiency or with the battle fatigue healing or with the taming wild/vicious animals mods.. all to +25
Basically you can go look at the list at the site above and if the item you want takes synthetic cloth, you can modify it with either cure efficiency/augmentation efficiency or battle fatigue healing or taming wild/vicious animals.
All the other mods go into Reinforced fiber panels...
3) melee / ranged defense and terrain negotiation/unarmed damage tissues go into reinforced fiber panels... you can check the list on the above site for info on which items take reinforced fiber panels.
For example for jackets those are : desert command jacket / heavy reinforced jacket/ spec-ops duster
For shirts: formfitting undershirt/ lined workshort and reinforced work shirt
(so basically any time you see a number in the third column on the above site behind the clothing item you'll be able to put either melee/ranged defense tissues in or terrain negotiation/unarmed damage tissues - do note that only one of those tissues will be able to go per piece of clothing )
I hope this helps... i know i'm not good at explaining
