New BE mods on clothing:

Melee/Ranged Defense mod - I think the max on these is going to be a +18, but I've found 15-16 to be the average you'll find. I spent a lot of time crafting these for my Tailor friend.

Can you make items like this for wookiees and if so what items. I need to know what to request in my order.

Thanks,

Post NGE and more than 20% subscription loss "You don’t hear me saying “everything is great”. I think it’s fair to say I was surprised how negative the reaction from the existing playerbase was. That tells me we didn’t handle the communication very well. Are there a lot of pissed off current and ex-players? Yes. Did we deserve that? Yes. i could be wrong, so please correct me if i am, but i think the only Wook item that takes Reinforced Fiber Panels are the 2 types of shoulder pads. and these cannot be worn with armor.

but if you speak to a tailor in-game about the order, have them check the wook-wear for everything that takes reinforced fiber panels.

oh, wooks can wear bandoliers as well, so you could remove your backpack, and get a melee/ranged defense bandolier.

So basically we're screwed. Can't wear armor with the first and can't carry stuff with the second. Only hope are aa's and gloves that can take ca's.....you would think they would have fixed that. Only good BE clothes for wooks are for med and dance...but not much need for the dance ones now

Not nesscarily screwed - With the CU, I'm finding there are less places I 'need' to wear armour with my wookiee. Which saves me a lot of trouble, as on Sunrunner it's hard to find decent wookiee armour. The less I have to wear it and decay it, the better off I am! I can replace broken clothing easier than I can broken armour.

And with the CU, I don't have to carry around buff packs and factory crates of buff packsor the large array of medical supplies (Rez packs, Cure Poisions/Dieases, and State Packs) that were expected of me before. It's all innate. And the CU brought the stacking of tissues/cores/leathers/anything in a series that's a loot drop, which means that things like that take up less inventory space now. So now, I can easily take off my pack and wear a bandolier and a shoulder pad and ride off into battle not hugely disadvantaged.

Saying this, I would *LOVE* to have more choices for clothing to take combat mods in wookiees in particular and for everyone in general. However, given the current system, there are ways to make it work.

I've been doing faction missions and have tried them with and without armor. Basically for me its been a matter of life or incap/death. Plus the look of one shoulder pad is just too lopsided for my taste. I do like the fact that we need to lug less stuff and hopefully I'll get use to doing so Right now I have the freelance mercenary bandolier because I don't care for the backpack look on wookiees. Too bad it doesnt' show well tho.

I'd be really happy if they made BE pants for us too. I am not crazy about the wraps at all. Don't like people looking up my skirt when I sit.
