Thread: Anyone try out any survey clothing?

Boy, I was excited when I saw the BE survey tissues. A long time ago, I used some of the survey food (forget what it was), and it worked nicely. It automatically extended the range of the survey device. With a +25 suit, I reasoned, I should be able to survey as if I had another box in that branch. I only have survey I. But upon donning the suit, I got nothing. My range stayed at 64 meters, and I couldn't change the range setting on my tools to anything else.
Anyone have any insight? What is the mod supposed to do?If it's like the bonuses from the skill tree, range and sampling success should increase. This would be a great product for folks with survey 4. They could drop it and free up five skill points.

Nevermind, found the discussion about this. Yes, chandad is the survey food which used to work fine for me. Hope it gets fixed!
