Has this issue been addressed yet? I hope it has, because I really want to make armor as well.

I know a master tailor who just encountered this bug yesterday and had to untrain novice armorsmith in order to regain the ability to make clothing that requires a crafting station.

Im the master tailor Natalia is refering too. I made novice armoursmith yesterday and started grinding my way through one of the first boxes. Around half way through i had a tell from someone wanting to buy a skin suit, so i pause from the grinding to make it.

As i try to open the clothing tool kit to make the suit, i get an error along the lines of "you have no schematics compatible with this tool kit."

Tried relogging etc and that didnt help. One thing, if i moved away from the crafting station and then opened the clothing kit, it worked fine, if i then moved back to the crafting station and typed /selectschematic x, i was able to pull up the schematics for some of the higher lvl items. However, I really couldnt be bothered to work out which was which (is there a list somewhere??) and subsequently surrendored the novice armoursmith skill. As soon as i did this, my ability to craft clothes normally returned

I was aware of this being a problem ages ago but assumed they had fixed it I guess not

This happened to me too. Fortunately, I only had the novice armorsmith box, but it means that I will have to grind back there once they fix it...which I hope will be very very soon. It really makes sense for tailors to also want to be armorsmiths. I heard that it had something to do with the total number of schematics that you have on your clothing crafting station by master tailor. *sigh* And all we got from the devs was, "Is this bug still happening?" etc. etc.
