Thread: Coolest Enhanced clothing you've made
Ok, we've all seen the threads about pricing enhanced clothing, how they work, what bug there are, blah blah blah. Same ones pop up every day. Here's a new one. What is the "coolest" enhanced outfit you have made?
So far the "coolest" ones I've come up with (and sold):
White/Black Grand Healers Robe+13 injury/wound treatment (I thought that was incredibly cool).
Exotic Leotard +15 dance +15 music healing.
And of course I get a kick out of the now very common combo of
Paramilitary Cammos (+13 healing, +13 mask scent)
Spec Ops Duster (+13 healing, +13 mask scent).
Great for rangers and scouts!
I've been making just about everything I can possibly make with the BE tissues.
Grand healers robe
Doctors Dress
Fashionably pleated skirts
Bustiers
Camos
Reinforced Pants
Pockets shorts
Padded workpants
Bandoliers
Wookie shoulder pads
thin striped pants
Cold weather jackets
Heavy reinforced jackets
Desert command jackets
Spec-ops dusters
Traders flightsuits
Rugged jackets
trim lined shirts
Form fitting undershirts
Flex form shirts
Muscle shirts
reinforced workshirts
I mix and match as many items as I possibly can without using too many tissues. I have about 100 in stock and it sells really quickly. My favorites are the combination ones in the camos, heavy jackets and so on.
I really like my redDoctor's Dress with +17 healing... its expenisive and it hasnt sold yet, but a doctors dress that actually benifits doctors? Sooo cool!
I also like my +9 entertainter exotic leotards... and my bright red +4/+18 melee/stun defence fighters flightsuit...
But my best sellers are definantly my healing +17 gunmans dusters! ![]()
Im gonna start making the combos now... I thought doing combination enhancements was bugged, but apparently not! ![]()
My bio-enhanced clothes aren't that cool.. I just make the basic items that take only 1 panel and sell an assortment on a newly created vendor. I'm trying to stay away from custom making the clothes, because it drives me bonkers spending 2 hours to sell one pair of pants and one shirt. I buy +13 to +15 tissues from a master BE, so using factory panels wouldn't really be worth it for me.
For myself, I made a mask scent combo of black/purple crafter's pants with a purple formfitting undershirt. I topped it with a black long vest and it looks pretty good. My baby bio-engineer has an outfit which yields +26 to healing and +30 or so to mask scent. Works nice because she likes healing in a group when she's not sticking needles in critters.
I'm still not seeing a huge demand for BE clothes.. which is just finewith me. :-)

I got my hands on a big stack of passive biosensors. I knew that if I could price them right, they'd sell like hotcakes to medics. (I was right. This weekend I will probably run out of my second stack, current +4 per.) Now, what do I put them in?
So I ran around the medical centers, carefully /examining the NPC trainers. With the exception of the combat medic, pretty much all of the rest are wearing a wide variety of pants or skirts in pale gray, with a white gunman's duster.
So I went through the clothing lists, looking for things that (a) took a single synth cloth panel, (b) could be made inexpensively, and (c) would suggest surgical scrubs when made in appropriate colors. What I ended up with is the Muscle Shirt in solid pale gray, and Crafter's Pants in pale gray with white accents. I alternate offering it in pale gray, pale blue (second to last row of blues, lightest shade), and mint green (last row of greens, lightest shade).
Not only do they fly off of the shelves, but I'm convinced that when anybody sees someone wearing this from halfway across town, they know that that person is a medic - and that, for me, is what I'm aiming for in all of my clothing designs. Not only do I want my customers to look cool and be happy, I want other people to see them the way they want to be seen!
I sell white swoop helms with the same bonus. They sell, but I'm not as happy with them. Today a medic bought a matching warm hat from me, which does look much better, but it's a more expensive hat - still, probably a better solution.
So far nobody has asked me to burn four panels at a time to make a gunny's duster. I have sold a couple of lab coats made from spec-ops dusters, but I'm not really happy with that solution either - when you make them in white, there's this gray "stain" leftover from the Endor camo pattern. I'm leaning towards steering people towards white cold weather jackets.
I also got my hands on a couple of crates of +4/+2 scent camouflage. I sell dark+light green paramilitary camos at a steady pace, and I'm happy with them. I was making lined workshirts in green with black patches, but nobody much liked them. After consulting with the customers, what I'm selling is green or black solid-color formfitting undershirts, which are an OK compromise. Occasional customers hit me up for a spec-ops dusters, despite the higher price that comes from burning two tissues, and if you combine that in two-tone green with the black formfitting undershirt and two-tone green camos, it's a pretty good look. I'm medium happy with it.
In the same initial load, I got several crates of really mediocre myoflex, +2. I dithered over using it at all, feeling like it was hardly worth it to charge people an extra 1000 credits for so little benefit.
Earlier in the week, I hit on the idea of taking some of the standard low-price formal and casual items and making them in op-art screaming bright colors with +2 myoflex. I'm talking thin-striped pants, fashionably pleated skirts, hot pants, and light bustiers, in colors like bright orange, or scarlet, or bright purple, or bright flaming red. I pair 'em with white longsleeve shirts or white flared cuff shirts with matching bright cuffs, and they sell fairly well.
Again, when some of the one-time junk finally moves (like the last of my old personal harvesters, and some Halloween themed stuff I may save for next year), I'll probably add some matching bright-color cold weather jackets.
The net effect, I will admit, says "entertainer" to me, in an almost Vegas lounge act, fern-bar piano-man kind of way. And I mean that, oddly enough, as a compliment to my fellow entertainers. For example, late last night I was in the Starport Cantina in Theed playing bandfill with a small pickup band. (I love my bandfill.) Because it was Halloween, I waswearing my Joker costume: purple comfortable slacks, purple cold weather jacket, orange dress shirt with blue tie, white leather gloves, black casual shoes, and a bright green headwrap. Almost nobody noticed it was a Halloween costume, because musicians really do dress like that, at least in this game. I should have made it with myoflex, somebody probably would have bought it!
Correction to the above - strike the part about burning two tissues to add mask scent to a spec-ops duster. I shouldn't work without my notes when I'm low on sleep.
What I wish the customers were buying for mask scent instead of what they are buying would be solid-color khaki paramilitary camos, almost any shirt, and brown desert command jackets with a white or bright scarf. I think it's a much better look - more military, and more wealthy/successful looking at the same time. I made some outfits like this. They took forever to sell. Oh, well.
No no no, that's the whole point of this thread. Maybe I should have renamed it "most extravengent use of tissues", hehehe. Everyone makes muscle shirts and form fitting under**edit**s, I'm wondering who has "burned four panels" as you said, making something really cool, unique, and completely extravagent.
I've got some new ones to add to my list:
sports wrap +15 healing
revealing top +15 dance/music
gunman's duster (white naturally) +15 healing

I just made a blue heavy flightsuit with +18 bleed defense... its cool ![]()
And an orange fighters flightsuit with +18 stun defense and +4 melee defense
I have 2 +9 entertainment healing exotic leotards...
Sold my red +17 healing doctors dress! w00t!
And lets see... white comfortable slacks with +15 healing
Heck im proud of all my clothes!
All the bustiers and tops need 2 active bio's, but since it seems that very few tailors make them, these sell quite as well, as long as you aren't too creative with colors.
