Thread: support decay
I also noticed that my rebel faction back pack did not suffer from decay?
So, the patch messege says:
NO decay on incap
1% decay on cloning with full insurance
5% decay on cloning without insurance
Isn't the easy answer to never clone and just deal with wounds that result from dieing far from last cloning center? Maybe I am missing something.

no... when they mean "cloning" they don't mean "paying the 1k to clone", but rather "when you die and is sent to a cloning center". therefore if you never "clone" you'll just lay there dead.
i agree that some form of decay is necessary, but i'm not sure if death-based is the answer. they should at least change death decayin PvP, since that's mostly what people are whining about.

There has been an aweful lot of whining about the 1% decay on insured cloning. We all know that the 1% is the only that stands between our wares from being indestructable (no future biz) as it has been in the past.
I am only worried that the voice of reason my be drowned out by the tantrums some of the players are throwing. They either don't realize we need our clothing to wear out to survive or they just don't care (perhaps a little of both).
Please post your support of decay on the forum link above.

Heres your friggin decay! I got decay from this crap allright! I got a decay in business! I have done 1/10 of AM-F days business on the weekend.
Nobody wants clothes that fall apart. In fact the way people are protesting decay in general is by going naked.
You people begging for clothing decay don't know what you're asking for. People are making this big of a deal over 1% decay on death! Imagine what would happen if just wearing it made it decay.
Oh and I won't neglect to add the fact that the WHINING about it brought this in.
And as far as repeat business goes... tell that to the 20 people that get sick of their clothes every 3 days, come in my shop and go on a spending spree =P
