Welcome to the Tailoring profession!

A good site to visit is www.swgtailor.com, there is a lot of information avalible on all the skill trees and the individual clothing schematics. For grinding I reccomend the Casual Shirt - that was what I used to gain the most xp for the least amount of resources. As for Bio-Clothing, make friends with your local Bio-Engineer, and because you are not a master, the bio-engineer doesn't have to be either if you want to make lower level bio-enhanced clothes that will sell. Get your hands on a factory and crank out the synthetic cloth panel cratesand market them to armorsmiths...another source of xp and income. I also recomend harvesting your own polymer and fiberplast - the costs of buying these resources quickly adds up and the maitenence costs of the harvester are less in the long run than buying from someone else.

Good Luck on your tailoring and all of your endeavors in SWG!

Hello Tailors, I have just joined your tight knit group ( I love puns ) . I am looking for the Master Tailor FAQ and having a difficulty locating such.

This is my second Holo profession - First was Weaponsmith and I learned a ton about the crafting profesion let me tell you. Being a Wookie Master Weaponsmith, I am now able to provide Wookies on Tempest with Bowcaster that actually work well ( not just decoration ). And take great pride in being able to do so.

Now, I see another opportunity to outfit wookies all over with some nice - looking materials , I am tired of seeing wookies in tattered hide jerkins and weighted pullovers......

Yes, I am interested in mastering quickly, but I would like to be outfitting my guildmates and fellow wookies along the way , I would appreciate some advice for Novic Tailors and any advice, links, to information on BE clothing, effects of experimentation, good resources to use or just say hello and make a new contact in the high fashion world!

Thanks in advance.

grind ribbed shirts to start off with. go up the Field Wear line, and grind link-steel reinforced gloves. once you get Field Wear 4 (i think) grind cartridge belts until master. if you run out of materials for the belts, grind cloaks (Casual Wear). good luck!
