Thread: Holy smouldering trousers, batman
Sheesh, lighten up. (another hidden pun if you are feeling the need to groan). I was just trying to get a chuckle out of some folks who I thought might need one.
Oh, and the flames should come from the palette of the tailor who made it.... Master Tailor crafted items will burn in more vivid, vibrant colors. =P

What did I tell you Raijen?
Though I do like the idea of clothing at 0/1000 being actually on fire and causing heat damage over time... but instead perhaps the flames should be lime green and the smoke bright pink. That way it won't be 'cool'.
That and drop your camoflauge mod to zero
Not only should the camo drop to zero, but you should get MORE aggros, with the exception of Gundans (sp?) that will mob you and fawn all over you pestering you with requests for help and fashion advice.

Since this is the official unofficial silly thread (yes, thread... get it, get it? what's worse than a pun? A pun that gets pointed out to death), I thought I would continue it a bit...

It's spelt Gungans; and of course you need to have them following you around for the next week saying 'mesa [INSERT NAME HERE] sir, messa your loyal servant!'.
Now all we need is for the devs to add an 'annoyance' damage type for their attacks
Additional dialog: the Gungan in question should state the obvious, repeatedly (weather, damage to you, any time you miss in battle or critfail). He/she would also be a complete chicken, hiding behind you immediately after provoking nearby aggros.
The damage type is to various mind stats of course - and will be applied to any medics or entertainers that try to treat you until you get rid of the pest. On top of that, if you don't deal with it within 24 hrs, your toon will randomly issue actions to randomly selected targets within range. Think 'insanity' from the Wizardry games...
Obviously this particular Gungan would be non-attackable for everyone, and have a rather elaborate list of your critfails to blither about when someone attempts to converse with him/her (Brave Sir Robin!).
You don't think this is taking decay a touch too far do you?
The silly thing is, no matter how stupid or annoying of something we can come up with, SOMEONE will try to make it seem 'cool'
like clothing from the 80's...

You mean the mental decay from this thread
Ok i'm done
In some thread I cant locate, someone posted that since havesters that have decayed catch fire, that it would be fitting to have "smoking dusters" in the event of eventual (still a shred of hope) decay on clothing.
Then I had an epiphany. I know why the devs took out decay on clothing. Because they are all wearing player-made slacks....
(get ready to groan)
If clothing decay did exist as intended... they they would all be LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE!!!

After a coment like that I regret coming up with the 'burning clothes idea'
