I was wondering what experience each of you have with these items on your way to master.

I did field wear first in the tailor tree and have just gotten IV. To get there, I did ribbed shirts..

I was told that I should switch to cartridge belts now but OUCH, is it really worth the difference in the amount of resources used? Do they give -that- much more xp than the ribbed shirts?

What do you all suggest?
Thanks!

I hear it is about 300xp.

The grandier's belt gives 299XP. not sure what the resources are for that off hand.

Definitely worth it to switch to cartridge belts which give 299 exp each. Think of it this way, you click half as much for the same exp given which means you gain more ground over time using cart belts. If you needed to get say Formal Wear I which requires 32,000 exp, you'd have to click about 107 times with cartridge belts whereas withribbed shirts younearly double that at 217 clicks.

Cartridge Belt's are definitely the way to go.

One thing that took me a while to figure out (I'm slow, I know), Cartridge Belts give the same XP as Grenadier's Belts. Only difference is, Cartridge belts take Steel, and Grenadier's Belts take Iron. So depending on which resource you have access to, you can do one or the other. Also, if steel or iron is in short supply, but you have plenty of some other metal, use that for the parts that you can. Good way to extend the life of the steel/iron.

Ok I am having a bad moment or just been grinding to much to find this, so excuse the question if it is too stupid. I can not find Cartridge Belts or Grenadier's Belts on the skill tree. What skill lvl do I need to get these XP jewels?

Thank you in advance for your help to what I am sure is a dumb question.

They're both in Field Wear IV. And it's not a dumb question...there are so many items of clothing, it's easy to lose track!

Well since both belts come in field wear IV, I assume that grinding on ribbed shirts untill hitting FW4 is the most efficient way - and further more that climbing the fieldwear skilltree before any other is also most efficient xp wise?

The reason I am asking is because personally I would like to climb the formal wear tree first, but I will definately rethink this if going field wear first will gain me faster xp over time.

I guess a sub-question to this post is if there are any xp grinding items in the formal wear tree that equals (or comes close to) the belts in field wear?

Thank you for your information!

I switched to link-steel gloves as soon as I got the schematic. They take metal and inert petrochemical, both of which I can get more easily than fiberplast.
