Can anyone please direct me to a thread or explain briefly how to change the text color when naming a crafted item?
I'm familiar with html and such, but haven't been able to figure out the exact command set to get the colors to change...
Thank you in advance,

Ani has a long post about cut/paste and colouring shop names and packs macroed. I'm sure she'll be along to post it before the day is done

I just simply go to a color code web site, like Webmonkey Reference color guide. All you have to type is \#number before the text.
For cutting/pasteing make sure you program a c/p code in your keypad via options in game. And use your /notepad to store what you paste. Just copy the format from any out of game word processor and tab in game and paste to your note book, then then name of your house/harvestor.
Hint: you are only allowd so many spaces for names, so it takes a little wiggling before it's perfect.
EX: \#FF3399Colors Rule!

Nu-uh !
*Copying & Pasting
Open your Options menu
Select Keymap (bottom on left),
Select Chat tab
Find and select "Chat Edit Copy"
Rebind {select Rebind, press button(s) you would like command mapped to}
Apply
Find and select "Chat Edit Paste"
Rebind {select Rebind, press button(s) you would like command mapped to}
Apply
If given a message that this may interfere with another command,
either continue and then Rebind the overwritten command,
or choose a new binding for current choices.

You can now copy from any 'active' text in game and paste into emails, chat, /note, macros.
This is attached to your Windows Clipboard, so you can also copy text out side of the game, then paste it while playing,
or copy it into your 'notes' {which is found in your login profile folder contained in the SWG directory} and access ingame via /note.

*Less Linear Labels
Open up a new email {or use /no}
Type in your sign, label, or title as you would like it to appear.
Have a nice day! May become:
Have
a

day!

day!
Select text by highlighting with mouse.
Hit Copy key(s)
Place cursor in labeling box (for item or house or whatever)
Hit Paste key(s)
If you receive a "windows clipboard was null"
you either did not bind keys correctly or use the correct keys to copy.
you either did not bind keys correctly or use the correct keys to copy.
Check your sign or wait for product to be done to see if typing is correct.
*General Color
Color may be applied to structure names, bags/backpacks, basic text, and certain chat.
Basic text includes Emails, descriptions area, bio, and /note.
Chat that may be colored includes auction, vendor barking, AFK reply, reply, guild.
Basically everything except spoken chat like yell, say, and shout.

To add color you will need to type \# before the #'s that match the color you want,
just before the word(s) you want that color.
just before the word(s) you want that color.
Just press \ once! It and the #'s may disappear if done correctly,
though not always depending what you are naming.

Here are some basic colors.
Type \# and the corresponding #'s before your words you want colorized.
Remember to use the white code if wanting to return to normal looking text.

\#666600 \#999900 \#FFFF00 YELLOWS
\#006600 \#009900 \#00FF00 GREENS
\#000066 \#000099 \#0000FF BLUES
\#660066 \#990099 \#FF00FF PURPLES
\#000000 \#666666 \#FFFFFF MONOCHROMES
{ei: \#00ff00EXAMPLE will give you this: EXAMPLE }
For highlighting colored text you may want to ENTER a few times down past your last typed line.
Then begin highlighting from the bottom of the empty lines you just created.
This will allow you to highlight the \ & #s at the beginning of the lines easier.

For chat, place a period (or anything really) before the \ or you will speak the #'s instead of haveing colored chat.
It may take some practice to highlight correctly, and even more to adjust everything to the look you want.
Above all play with it and try out all you can.

If you would like a ingame email of this to reference to, post your SERVER & INGAME NAME
