Thread: TAILOR STRIKE! BE stats STILL BROKEN after nearly ONE MONTH
Wow, BE clothing is that big of a deal?
I've been a tailor for a year now and have never made a single piece of BE clothing, nor had any desire to go into that business. Regular clothing sells very well for me, I wouldn't call the problem "profession ending."
Sure, it needs to be fixed, I support that 100%, if only because I believe all non-combat professions are needing MAJOR attention. Not only new content, but what is broken needs to be fixed.
YAY! ... I'm glad SOMEONE posted about that (and today of all days, a day after my rant, sorry for the rant, I really dont like to do that but we had heard NOTHING
so YAY! Cheers for JFreeman for the post. NJ62 Linked the thread he posted on, but heres what he said (Dev's for the win ... this time ![]()

Er, what I mean is: We're aware of the situation and the importance of fixing this. This has turned-out to be a more difficult bug to fix than we'd hoped, living deep within the crafting system.
So, it's going to take a bit more time, but not because we don't think it's important. Just because it's a really tough nut to crack, this bug.
Yea, I also have a tailor/be,I was also satisfied with the answer that they are working on it.........I thought it would only be a week or two, I guess those were too high ofhopes because its been about a month since i sent in my ticket. This is a big deal to me because this is my money maker. I used the BE only to craft tissues for my tailor to use. I originally thought it was a factory issue, because my first impact from this was when i ran a whole factory run of synthetic cloth with tissues, the factory ate all the tissues and the SC had no mods, I guess i hadnt noticed when i made the schematic. Anyway, this will kill both my characters templates if i cannot do anything with the tissues but look at them.
Devs....Please help both professions, this isnt just a personal plea, there are so many people just waiting to put in orders for their clothes with mods.

I've only very rarely made BE clothes, and no, I don't think that them being broken is a big deal to me.
With that said, yes I want it to be fixed, but posting here and flaming others sure won't get it fixed faster (or slower for that matter).
Have had to tell quite a lot of people recently that I am sorry that I cannot help them
THankfully, BE is not my only clothes sales line.
Many of us who play these games have some smidgen of programming experience (myself included) and one reason we are understanding about the time this is taking is that we have dealt with the odd bug that crops up when a line or five of code is altered.
I wish they had reverted whatever it was they tweaked. The day before the bug I spent 2 million on tissues... luckily I havent used them yet. But I have read the boards and some of our fellowship were not so lucky, they lost a lot of credits and time due to this.
The recent answer to everything has been double experience as a salve to ease the players itch.... (which has been useless to me since I am already Master Tailor and have a completed character template) - it would be nice if they could/would recompense us in some way for our lost revenue. Not that I expect it, but nevertheless, it would be nice.
That said - I want this fixed ASAP - and yes!!! a month is too long to wait. However, we are still waiting....
