Thread: Question on Tailor-Image Designing
Now, another point. I separated tailor and merchant once and it was quite painful. See, if you're hand-crafting individual items it's a pain in the butt to transfer them to another char and then put them up for sale. Inventory and house limits are very difficult. I find it a LOT easier to just craft and load my vendors as I go. On the other hand, I served as a merchant for a friend's architect, and found that quite easy because it's pretty much identical goods at the same prices, and the furniture was in crates. In that case it was easy to transfer between characters and put up for sale.
Thank You to everyone for your input and support ![]()
I decided to do it
I took my Master ID/Master Arch/Master Merch and respeced her to Master WS/Master Chef and kept her Master Merch. Now Im in the process of changing my Master Tailor/Master Chef/Master Merch to Master Tailor/Master ID with Merch 0-4-4-4. I am now really liking the fact that Master ID requires only 47 skill points, so it is allowing me to keep 10 vendors

I'm a Master Tailor/Master Image Designer and I also have Merchant 0004, and Dancer 0040. I love my template. First I trained Merchant and set up my shop the wayI wanted it, then I dropped to Merchant 0004.
Good Luck!
If you go for the custom-order Tailor/ID (as I did) you don't really need to worry that much about Merchant. Visit the cantina's (hang out in Theed and C'net andthe MO)and you will get the business. With increased inventory space this is even easier.
You will end up makingalmost all your clothes by hand. That personal touch will win you lifeling die-hard customers who will refer others to you. And you can charge more for on-the-spot service ![]()
